It's real simple, when these critters run out of darts, they'll return for more; That's when they'll get recaptured. Of course, if any of these things wonder into a "Liquor and Ammo" store in the "Big Easy"; Well, I'd hate to think what would happen if these critters got drunk AND reloaded all at the same time. Just how intelligent are these killers?
Lets face it, the search for uncle bin ladin sucks. I guess the ol'boy isn't going through any speed traps that are put up to "search" for him. So, our brave set of G-Men, and G-Women must find a way to look "potent".

What if Robotics Engineers looked at other remote controlled solutions, like harvesting crops. I think that if you want to scare pants off of a competitor, then start fully automating the ability to bring food to a consumer. Likewise, if you want to totally distrupt the flow of goods and services of a fellow competitor, then fully automate services, and the building of products.
Consider that the copyright issue is resolved one way or another. Now consider the idea of a Library in which one can "check out" a library book; The book in question is electronic in nature. Given the rule of one copy purchased can be loaned to one reader at a time, and returned; The business model applied here is fairly linear. Advertising of a book could be in the form of scanning the text for a quote, or that it exists for "checkout". The benefits are kind of nice. One does not have to kill a tree to publish an electronic book. The author is rewarded for literary work well done, or in many cases, in major demand anyway. Books can be translated to other languages either written, or orally. Trees don't have to hide their young. And; Knowledge is allowed to continue to grow in an exponetial manner.
I'd very interested in ANY person who has worked with linux, forgetting about it. To me, PAYING for the same thing over and over again is symptom of forgetting.
I don't know about everyone in the Software Industry, but I'm not familiar any Open Sores types that have been convicted in a Federal Court for lying, cheating, and stealing; But I know of one Close Sores company that has. Parents, if your child wishes to work for a close sores company; Then read the newspapers of what your childrens "new friends" are getting in trouble for. It should be enough to say that your childs "new friends" ARE getting into trouble.
I believe the Prosecution is suing for Tort. What I would find Interesting would be if the Defense requested Urine testing for illegal substances from the Prosecution.
I fully realize that the rules of the FAA are written in pilots blood; But what of the business ramifications? What would the FAA do is this project were registered in a soverign state like Grand Cayman? Then the FAA's approval would be "curious?" But lets take this another step further; What does the world do when Grand Cayman becomes the first "Lift Port" for this type of elevator? This would make the "Three Rivers Project" look like a cute little beaver movie. If I were the rest of the world, I wouldn't think that the elevator is ready for prime time, yet; But I wouldn't turn my back on it either.
I RTFA and would have to agree with Mark Twain. There are 3 types of lies. It appears that sometimes when there's a deadline looming to get copy out, reality is the first to suffer. But maybe in the area of reporting that Mark Twain used successfully, maybe Dr.Ou would like to bask. Only thing is, I'm not laughing, and it looks like the kind doctor's humor is lost to the rest of us.
If you going to "live off the fat of the land", your going to need a good compost pile. It takes the harvest of about 1 acher of fair land to feed a person for 6 to 9 months, and have enough stored away for those dry spells for living. Farming is not like driving a car. Things are built for a 20+ year life span for a reason, NASA might want to consider useage at that level. 12 years? Might as well say 24 years, its the same crap. If the U.S. wants this done, then offer $100 million dollars to the first homesteader(s) that can survive for 3 years on the moon; plus all the rights to the minerals that can be picked up and moved to their homestead.
the story line goes, "You wake up and discover your Bin Laden's father. Every Mega World Power Leader is compled to make you very happy. In order to win, you must find things for these world leaders to do, or they will..."
Just a couple of movie facts: 1. The electrical energy used to power the lights on the W.O.P.E.R. was enough to power another W.O.P.E.R. 2. I still remember the scene where the character played by Mathew Broderick sits down in front of the TV only to hear, "The Prophalatic Recycling Plant Burned Down"; Classic Disney.
I RTA'd and saw no facts. This looks like a FUD statement. The best way to deal with "what if's" is to show facts. One can easily argue facts; If a person cannot bring facts to the discussion, then that person is unprepaired. In any case, a person that is not prepaired is not a part of the solution.
I just couldn't help but think launching cargo containers using Burt Rotans desent methods. With typical cargo containers trucked to a launch site, sent up, return payload with a zero deseleration speed at 60 miles ASL, then glide to a close by standard ILS airfield. This is what I'd call "Long Haul Trucking". The standard container is 20'x8.5'x8.5' and can carry 15,750kg's. To me, this is an problem worthy of a constructive solution.
Fresh water? Electrical Energy? Throw in Fuel Cell fuel production and I think that many of us will say, "this is cool". What has me at odds with my self is that with China's Three River Project, and now this floating power station solution is that the folks on the other side of the planet are "Getting It" when it comes to creating a foundation for growth.
The fundimental problem we have is a lack of evidence of the existance of non carbon based biologies on this planet. To think that it takes water, and carbon to make elementary life is niave; But at this point, we have nothing to compare to. There is no paper published on this planet that could support processes of non carbon based biologies, and still stand up to unit testing by any interested party. The only known way for us to know better is by some form of contact. Personally, I would prefer if contact were made using long range passive mode telescopes under human control.
I feel so sad for G.L., why don't we pass around the hat and collect enough for his children to have milk?
One cannot sue a minor, or insane person for Tort?

It's hard to ignore that if the $100,000,000 were put into the Space Elevator that Microsoft would be relivent again.
Let's think about this; KDE can be downloaded anytime, for free. Vista is $300+, but its only a subscription, with limitations. Am I On Candid Camera?
I guess if you use the Blue-E this could be a really big problem?
