shortsightedness is a game that machines have mastered. So when one has a winning solution based on short shortsightedness, the outcome is easily predictable.
Interesting use of problem solving AI stuff. But can the DeepMind AI be made to respond to this one simple issue, "Given my limited resources, which Medicare program should I buy? And, could a DeepMind AI handle and process my Medicare transactions seamlessly?" But the gaming skills could be used as a trainging coach are good.
I think it is a great idea to drill for oxygen and stuff on the moon. What keeps me from talking more about the ESA on the moon is that from my view in my cave, one needs to have a presence on the moon in order to mine its resources. Maybe the ESA might want to do something simple like maybe put a LEM on the moon?
Boy do I feel awkward. I have been accessing the NSA data bases to do light credit checks of folks that use debit cards. I just thought it was ok, what with cell tower owners selling location data. So I just figure that any data collected is accessible.
So, after decades of work by our brightest minds and biggest egos, we can not build a thinking program? Maybe until then, some of the smaller problems could be reviewed? Like 3D Printing Medicine?
Nicole Foss may have a point; her thesis lacks support numbers. Personally, I stopped believing folks that talked convincingly without offering proof when I learned to do basic math.
Maybe Bill's idea is to remove the radio activity from radio active stuff? That would be worth an Ig-Nobel; and Bill wouldn't have to sue or get sue'd for it. I see his idea as a Feature, not a Bug.
