Since the UK has already completed the series, some of the plotlines have been spoiled for those of us on the left side of the pond
What I find really funny is the Americans bitching in the newsgroup about people not warning about spoilers.
We've had to put up with this for years - as most shows are aired in the US before anywhere else. Now that this has been reversed, all they did was complain.
since Isuzu is not a GM company. Can you provide the model and proof that the Chevy was in fact rebranded?
Here in Australia, we have the Holden Rodeo, which is really an Isuzu. We also have the Holden Astra/Vectra/Barina as well as the locally built Commodore (the "Monaro" coupe version is sold as the Pontiac GTO in the USA).
Symantec has excellent corporate support and management features
No they don't. I called the corporate support number. While I was on hold, I found the download link in a slashdot comment. Slashdot was far more helpful than Symantec.
After 9/11, some dumbshit appeared on TV and said "no one could've predicted this". Oh really? In one of Clancy's books, a terrorist flew a fully-fuelled 747 into the Capitol during a joint session of Congress. Sound familiar?
So it's a US thing? Please explain, then, why I had to fill out a form saying where I would be staying when I flew into London from the US?
We live in Australia and had to fill in the address of where we were staying in NZ. I was on an AU passport, my wife on an NZ passport - yes the NZ citizen had to fill it in too!
My Kodak DX4530 takes 2 AA's. I dont bother with the NiMH - I use CRV-3 Lithiums for $8 each, they last several hundred shots and dont go flat on the shelf.
My local newspaper's web site has recently required registration (so they can "improve" their service..). They also increased their annoying popup ads after registration was required.
I finally gave in and registered with them, as a 60+ year old from africa. I used the email address listed as the contact for any questions about the registration process, so it seems they dont verify the email addresses at all.
I have a HP Netserver LH3 with a pair of P2-450's sitting under the desk. It runs better than the P4-1.4GHz system I also have.

Office 2003, the latest version of Office, requires Windows XP to run.
Then how am I running office2003 on this Windows 2000 PC? Office 2003 system requirements are here. It lists Win2ksp3 or higher, which is not unreasonable these days.
Linus went to Canberra zoo once, they have this sign at the Penguin exhibit regarding the story behind Tux.
Ch9 are still showing old Frasier, I bought the final season (s11) on DVD from Amazon, and downloaded s10 (its not available on DVD yet)
Ch9 are still showing s9. Thats 2 and a bit seasons behind.
Of course they'll put ads in it. Just look at Cable - you pay for that, and they still put ads in.

All I have to say is - Now you know how it feels!

Whats in FC3 that isn't in RHEL4?
I'm rather annoyed with FC3/RHEL4 - they dropped support for my old Netraid card. Apparently its a 2.6 thing, FreeBSD here I come.
Gaypal? :-)

You know laser printers come with starter cartridges too?
Just wait for the Ebola outbreak!
I played Civ1 a LOT, never played Civ2.
Civ3 is much better than Civ1 - in Civ1 I lost a battleship to a Phalanx! wtf!?
Very nice printer, the drivers are a bit buggy.. but the HP drivers also work :)

port 25 is also redirected to the mail filter, which will not relay for more of the lan.

I'm perfectly happy with my Philips 68cm (27") CRT TV. I might eventually get a projector to suppliment it.
but its no longer available!
wtf. who's smart idea was that?
A friend had a vendor request "chmod 777 /etc/shadow" to make their app work.
