  1. Start with policy on Ask Slashdot: Best Practices For Maintaining IT Policy In K-12 Public Education? · · Score: 1

You handle these things by superintendent and board policies, and then use disciplinary actions against employees who violate the policy.

You do have a long battle to get around a poorly educated "educator" like your Vice Super. A high level director is the hardest person in the world to change.

Wow, thank you for that faith inspiring rhetoric; I can't think of how I could further prove that modern day theory is not much better then religion for the people who can't yet invent a new "God" or Genesis story.

I could come up with a much better theory, about how the sun's rotation speed caused all the slower particles to form planets much faster as a result of the suns unequal gravitational balance, however I fear that would be lost in the argument about why such circumstance would come to be when no evidence of such things suggest a theory even close to mine, much less this one...

The next time I pick a random thought out of my head, I'll be sure to post it on slashdot however... oh wait..

  6. Is this really news? on Porn Found On L.A. Obscenity Case Judge's Website · · Score: 1

Finding porn on a 9th circuit court judges computer is liking finding a playboy at a porn stars' house. Is this really news? The 9th circuit court is the most liberal court in the whole nation, and thus we presume, progressive. Judges looking at porn is a given, would you be a judge and not look at porn?

Very well said. I don't want to spend 8 hours a day starring at some MALE avatars butt. To each his own, but I play a female because I'm /not/ deviant and because I'm not a gay man.

When I first explained this to my friends, and they realized they have spent days upon days looking at a male characters butt, they switched as well.

Nice try at an example, however...

The initial response to any threat is hardly the equivalent of the follow-up investigation. They didn't find those time-phone records until after the sweep and clear. They knew there was no bomb long before this kid was arrested.

In fact, there very much could have been a bomb, that even blew up, and this kid would have still be arrested wrongfully.

You simply cannot use the justification for threat response as a valid argument for a poorly done follow-up.

The hypocrites of homosexuality are, of course, already preparing to answer these statements by accusing me of homophobia, gay-bashing, bigotry, intolerance; but nothing that I have said here -- and nothing that has been said by any of the prophets or any of the Church leaders who have dealt with this issue -- can be construed as advocating, encouraging, or even allowing harsh personal treatment of individuals who are unable to resist the temptation to have sexual relations with persons of the same sex.
