    There is a "warning," and then there is a "WARNING: YOU MUST CLICK FIVE TIMES TO SEE THIS PAGE." A simple bar across the top of the page with a warning that the sites identity couldn't be verified, but that the connection was still encrypted would work just fine.

    I used CygWin for a couple of weeks before my department was closed and i was downsized*. You get used to having BASH on windows pretty quickly.

    Or better, point to a computer model that has shown accuracy and bet me $100 it's current prediction will be true in ten years.

    everyone knows that the dollar will be worthless in ten years, the same people who are pushing global warming on us are also pushing the amero on us. now if you had bet gold, you would be betting something that holds it's value ;)

    the mac mini kinda sucks though. they're priced WAY to high for what they are, they should be... $300. i'm VERY happy with my macbook though.

    First: the linked article is 3 years old and isn't even using the same hardware architecture.

    Second: Apple has by no means been resting on it's laurels. In Snow Leopard there is a new thread management system called Grand Central. GS seems like it would be a kernel level feature, which means that it just might be open sourced in Darwin 10. Read up on GS (and other features) at http://www.roughlydrafted.com/2008/06/12/wwdc-2008-new-in-mac-os-x-snow-leopard/

    Chances are pretty good that your entire argument will be void next year, if not already. Have a nice day. :P

    You should really use BSD rather than just giving away your code. With BSD, you get credit on all derivatives, AND you have a liability clause to protect you from law suits.

    Actually Diablo II shipped for Mac and Windows on the same day, but in different packaging. Oddly, while the Windows version shipped on a Windows only disc, the Mac version was hybrid. That means that the Mac version went gold AFTER the PC version, but still before it launched. Later Windows labeled boxes shipped with hybrid disks as well.

    I was "The Apple Guy" at my local CompUSA when DII launched, I had my Hybrid (mac) copy of DII on the day DII launched.

    luckily it is as simple as that: Cedega. Almost game that runs on the Mac will run in Cedega just fine. They're both built on the same technology.
