Your spelling really helps your weak arguments
Yep yep, your attacking his spelling sure shows how weak his argument is. Plus, it's easier then actually finding fault with the content of what he said.
Consider its licensing policies versus Linux, for example. When code is licensed under the GNU General Public License or GPL (as is Linux), the license effectively eliminates any financial rewards anyone -- whether an individual or a corporation -- might hope to gain from improving upon it. It does this by compelling an author who uses any part of the code to give up the right to charge a license fee for the finished product.
What is BSD? If you ask a typical computer "expert," he or she is likely to reply Next Page >
(incorrectly!) that it is "an operating system." The correct answer, however, is more complex than that. Next Page >
BSD is -- among other things -- a culture, a philosophy, and a growing collection of software, most (though not all) of which is available for free and with source code. Next Page >
Here are the origins of BSD and the operating systems it has spawned. Next Page >
BSD stands for "Berkeley Software Distribution," the name first given to the University of California at Berkeley's own toolkit of enhancements for the UNIX operating system.
In the book the "sleepless" also don't age and are super smart to boot. As far as I know this drug doesn't do that... (the book, and it's sequel "Beggars and Choosers" are both really good fiction though)
To be fair (if somewhat nit picky) in the book people found that the aging process was directly tied to sleeping (So they didn't age because they didn't sleep). Who know, this drug might do the same thing:). And it has a sequel?!? Cool, thanks for bring that to my attention. I'll have to look for that.
It's gonna be 11.6 visitors per second, now that it's been mentioned on Slashdot. Sure hope their servers can handle sending all that fancy ad stuff to millions of/.ers.
Then flash some slogan like:
"We don't see problems, we see solutions"
"Your superior intellect is no match for our puny weapons!"
I like the second one better:)
"Oh no, the dead have risen and are voting republican!"
INCONCEIVABLE!

That's because we have a specialized apple section of slashdot. What, should every story on that page have the same generic apple icon?
Better tell Redhat to pack up shop.

Yes, if you open a new shell often enough to bitch about a .5 second difference, you should leave it open all the time.
"Your ideas are intriguing to me and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter"
No, it's pronounced chowder!
Off the top of my head, the whole being-convicted-under-the-antitrust-act thing.
Right, in the fortune file you go.
Yeah but, how many linux-using people are there who don't dual-boot with windows? I doubt that there are many gamers running *only* linux.
"In this house, we obey the laws of thermodynamics!" (I'm very very sorry)
Oh, come on, it's a perfectly cromulent word.
Try 8th, ho
How much you wanna bet most of the geeks following that link are more aroused by the Unreal 2 screenshots then the naked ladies? :)

Umm, doesn't seem to work. But Google's does.
Damn, you mean I'm only going to live to 37? Seriously, 50-somethings aren't the only ones who invent things.
Someone mod this +1 Inciteful
Ogg Vorbis? Slashdot? GIMP? Oh yeah, big corporations are the only ones with weird names.

You couldn't fool your mother on the foolingest day of your life if you had an electrified fooling machine!

If you have HTML tags, you should really put it in HTML mode.
Hey, this is great. I get to weed out all the humorless whinny posters in one day! I must've foe'd 15 people today.
