I have both Nextstar 2 and 3 enclosures (USB 2.0) and I'm quite happy with both. The Nexstar 2 is made with cheap plastic, but since it holds my backup hard drive it doesn't matter too much (the drive is plugged for not very long anyways). The rubber paddings are quite nice too.
Having this enclosure, I needed another one, to hold my primary external storage on my laptop. I bought the Nexstar 3 since I found the NS2 good enough, and because the NS3 is made of aluminium instead of plastic (since this enclosure is mostly always powered, I needed an enclosure that can dissipate heat). It is very nice, a bit smaller than the NS2 and without rubber pads, but the HDD is quite tight inside it so the heat can dissipate very easily. Plus, it looks quite nice.
On a sidenote, Vantec support is excellent. I accidently broke one of the 2" IDE cables, and they sent me another one at no cost and very quickly. Recommended!
Videotron is owned by Quebecor. Quebecor owns several music producers and distributors, like Select, Musicor and Trans-Canada. Also, Quebecor owns Archambault, which is one of the largest (if not the largest) CD retailer in Quebec.
It's clear to me that using FUD, Quebecor (using Videotron) wants to raise up the profits in its music division.
I use Yahoo for e-mail because I think their service is better than Hotmail. Some features on Yahoo Mail are quite neat and useful (to me), the agenda for example. Google and MSN does not offer that, AFAIK.
I second that. I have a ML-1450 since nearly 2 years and it's fast, prints really good, works well with Linux/ OS X/ Windows and (almost) paper jam free.
Same thing for me. At my University they installed Trillian Free everywhere, but I prefer carrying Miranda IM on my USB key. I really don't like Trillian, but I feel more "at home" with Miranda.
I got a GMail account but I won't switch to it if I can't have a calendar as I have in my Yahoo mailbox. It's quite nice to have your agenda on the go everywhere (and reciving emails when today's someone birthday, so I don't forget;) )!

My GeForce 3 Ti200 works fine elsewhere (Quake3, UT / UT2004). Using kernel 2.6.8.1 and latest NVidia drivers (mabye I should reinstall them?) on a Slack 10.
Better yet, they don't allow knives (like my small Victorinox Classic) on board, yet they allow glass bottles (beer, wine and such). IMO it's far easier to attack someone with a full wine bottle than with a 2" knife. I still don't understand.
Actually, it's "X Window System", there is no "s" in "Window".
I agree!

You said it yourself, version 1.5 *Beta 1*

My 0.02$.
Same here, I saw an article on Heise.de though. Using it since the 14, works great !
Yes, we just passed it. Move along, nothing to see here.
Geek joke, like many on /.
You must be new here.
Both : DNF will be shipped as a bonus game with WinFS.

No, since the number was computed by that new Intel chip, VIIV really means 64 (hint: think of the Pentium bug).
Try Netcraft...
Try reading the book that came with your car, mabye ?

Did you mean Sun Chips?
Too bad the original goatse.cx is down, that could be fun. "Hey Jim, check that financial report!"... At least we have mirrors...
Last january, Microsoft Advised to Type in URLs Rather than Click. You have been warned early, consider yourself lucky !

The symlink in /usr/lib/libGL.so.1 was good but not the one in /usr/X11/lib. I changed it to point the NVidia's one and it works very well now !
Forgot to add that I use X.Org 6.8.0.
Anyone else got this error? :

I, for one, downloaded it at home and installed it 3-4 times on various computers on my home network. So, I'm kinda your counterpart...
