    Not many, true, but a lot of people do buy Touches anyway so over time there will be more and more people who could decide to pick up a controller and have a "good enough" gaming system instead of spending $500 on a console. And the more people who do that, the more developers will support them. It's just a matter of time.

    I play FPS's on my iPad at 2048x1536. They look worse on my HDTV.

    True, why stream the game to my HDTV when my iPad has a million more pixels than it? The new Mac is the Mac Pro and the price hasn't been announced.

    That's that happens when you run an ancient codebase. At least Apple had the good sense to throw out their old OS and build something future-friendly.

    The Thunderbolt port is backwards compatible with DisplayPort which is a standard. It just happens to have another 20Gbps available if you need it - oh the horror!

    That Thunderbolt port can break out to any number of other ports, even PCIe slots. Can't do that with the Sammy.

    There'll be a Retina Air at some point. I just returned a Surface Pro and went back to an Air largely due to how horribly Windows handles high DPI. Most people with this "Ativ Book 9 Plus" (ugh) will run it at a much lower res, guaranteed.

    Keep in mind, too, that songs can act as promotional material for their artists. If someone pirates a song then plays it to a bunch of their friends that can turn into sales. Just as how radio play actually increases sales of the songs played, so too can pirated downloads.

    dingdingding! People seem to forget that asking customers for money is the norm pretty much everywhere except the web. Not only would the web survive if all sites went pay, in many ways it would be better.

    Very few people will ever wire their iDevice to a display when AirPlay works so well over wireless. This is a non-issue.

    It's not the weapon that's scary, but the thought of what might happen if it ends up in the hands of someone with a reason to mow down a bunch of kindergarten kids. Less guns in US homes will equate to less gun deaths.
