Thanks for the clarification. I've wanted to get my head around the subject for many years and never found an accessible way for a lay person like myseff, and this discussion has rectified that concisely and appropriately.
Isn't this just a debate of the meaning of words when considering the actions of an extremely small sample?
It could be argued motivation leads to curiosity - maybe someone needs to get a job (motivation) and they wonder whether (curiosity) thet would be able to learn some skills that would enable them to get one.
I would suggest it's subbstantively about volition in learning. A motivated learner will be successful if given sufficient resources, time, environment etc. whereas an unmotivated person will not learn, not even after prodding them with a Big Pointy Stick. If they do change behaviour, and in the manner you desired, you've simply provided motivation - to avoid the nasty stabbing pain in the forehead in this case.
"The submitter notes that this V2V communication would include transmission of a vehicle's location, which comes with privacy concerns"
Hardly a secret is it? It's the chuffing big bit of metal about to slam into your vehicle. Look out the windows and there it is.
Would it not be easier to comparing how the mantis 3D vision works normally and then fitting humans with different types of 3D glasses to fake *them* out?
Alan Sked, who launched Ukip in 1991, hs said "quite clearly UKIP nowadays is led by morons who have no policies and are fascistic and the chickens are coming home to roost" and launched a highly personal attack on UKIP's leader Nigel Farage, accusing him of recruiting former members of the National Front to the party.

Don't forget the handshake.
"only 40% of its versions can be stopped by antivirus software" Take a general case. What proportion of crime is stopped by the police?
It's looking pretty promising for Norfolk, though.

All those cows, pigs, sheep, chickens etc are no longer going to be wanted by mankind.
But if we get rid of them, where are we going to get all the sh*t for the organic veg?

Assuming the racing car is going around in a loop of some form, just fix the camera to the car and you'll get a 360 image.
