On the other hand, Germans have to thank the US for not speaking Russian these days.

Why? If the US did not join the allied forces, then it is save to say that Hitler could have send more force to the east and probably could have conquered Russia. I know it is all speculation, but so has the above quote.

Don't get me wrong, I thank the US for jjoining the war, otherwise I sure as hell would be speaking German.

I have bought a shuttle as a workstation and mainly because it was supposed to be quiet (and of course because it looks good). I must say that the quiet part leaves me a bit dissapointed. I have a HP workstation, which is much quiter, without tweaking anything. I'm not saying don't buy one. It is a wonderful machine, but I would not want the noise 24x7 in my living room.

The patch has been out some time now (more then a week). I have indeed installed it and have been figuring out for a day why my network card did not work anymore :(

After deinstalling the update (luckily that was possible, there are updates where there is no rollback) everything worked fine.

I checked again with windows update and the patch wasn't avaialble anymore (this was last saterday), so I reckoned it had nothing to do with my setup, or at least was not the only one.
