Are we still talking about TCPA? Sounds like you're beating your chest over hypothetical events not related to the topic. Why don't you just say:

"The world cannot go on without a properous American economy!" or
    "w3 o\/\/n j000000!!"

You're just proving my point on the American EGO. Many other countries currently follow a different path than the US and this will continue.

Canada's senate is reviewing a bill to legalize pot while US police are still jailing kids for possession. Canada has very few gun related deaths compared to gun wielding Americans running scared from a evil sniper armed with a gun you can't even buy in Canada. Can you see the differences here?

Canada will never see the day of TCPA and a large volume of non-TCPA hardware will always be available for countries not honoring the TCPA. Why? Because if there is a demand, someone will supply that need. The only case in which TCPA products would replace or modify all current PC hardware/software is when every single country in the world fully enforces the TCPAs directives. It's a joke that anyone would assume they have such absolute influence on the rest of the world. Didn't you hear about the Chinese buring DVDs and CDs in International Waters to avoid copyrights? Do you really think it's impossible to envison a country that would harbour non-TCPA hardware manufacturers?

Oh, every other country must be free of greedy corporations and corrupt politicians
No, but you're assuming these entities will follow a business path that aligns with US legislation. Wrong. The same capitalist needs that fuel the TPCA would create an industry of non-TCPA hardware; and trust me, the earnings would be lucrative.

Excuse me, I'm off to smoke a Cuban cigar.

    Not a chance.

You cannot directly compare console to PC gaming (or vice-versa), in broad statements such as "Consoles suck!" or "PCs have way better graphics". The two platforms are vastly different in focus markets, technology, price point, game development, among other things. One who choses this simplistic comparison is obviously not aware of the technical characterstics of both platforms.

    Apples and oranges.
You might as well say Linux is better than Windows, which would be an equally oversimplified and pointless statement.

    Why apples and oranges?

Well you comparing "frozen"/standardized, relatively outdated PC hardware run through a blurry NTSC TV (thats 242x427 blurred + line noise!) vs. leading edge gf4/radeon 9700 @ 2+ ghz running on a crisp monitor @ 1600 x 1200.

And you're saying the console games look much better? Well maybe they do in a way, perhaps the low poly count needed for TV enables more fluid animation, smooth (blurred edges).

I prefer the glory of a crisp resolution, 32+ multiplayer, my trusty flight stick and a more than ample sidewinder gamepad pad.

Both arenas (consoles/PC) will always have their niches, save the demise of TVs (ya right). Neither is better, they too different to compare directly.

Yes those drivers did suck, but that was 5 years ago. I'm still using the original Sidewinder 3d Pro (5 years old!) and the drivers are built into XP and can be downloaded for all other WIn32 OSs. The drivers are simple, programmable and stable. All Sidewinder products are fully supported in 98,ME,2000,XP (not sure about 95).

Also Microsoft stopped supporting very quickly so if you have Windows2000 or XP, your screwed.
Wrong. The only reason you might have a problem getting sidewinder software is because the hardware is already built into your version of Windows. But go ahead a see for yourself:
    http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/sidew inder/downl oads/302.asp
Yes 2000 and XP are missing, they don't need the software!

If you think MS makes good keyboard and mice, then your probably never tried anything by logitech. They are a much better vendor in my opinion and I like the way they feel.

Yes I've used Logitech keyboards, excellt quality but the keys are too small for my meaty fingers. Logitech mice are also good, but a little more fragile IMHO.

might end up being quickly unsupported like their sidewinders, phones, and USB speakers if its not commercially sucessfull.
I can't speak for the phones and speakers, but the joysticks, keyboards and mice are fully supported (have drivers) in all MS OSs including Linux!
