And giving money is not enough. Setting up the local economic system is the solution, but individuals might not be helpful.

Big Bang is saying that the universe has a beginning. So I think it is an evidence, but not a proof. Of course you could say the universe is uncaused, or there are infinite number of universes. Or we don't know.

I don't quite understand why you require testable and falsifiable evidences. That's not how we live our life everyday.

Is the bible good evidence? I think so. Of course it is not proof. Again you could say the authors of the bible are liars, superstitious, or the later Church were corrupt and they fabricated evidences.

How about believer testimony? Again you could argue they are mistaken. Or placebo effect.

I believe both theists and atheists are reasonable in their belief, unless you really require us to hold very high standard. But it is hard to have truely open mind.

Unfortunately we are asked to 'spread the gospel' So, I am sorry could not leave the atheists, or any one for that matter, alone. So what you want us to do, if we truely believe that there would be judgement in the future?

Supreme court ruling regarding indecent speech in broadcast media.

"First, the broadcast media have established a uniquely pervasive presence in the lives of all Americans. Patently offensive, indecent material presented over the airwaves confronts the citizen, not only in public, but also in the privacy of the home, where the individual's right to be left alone plainly outweighs the First Amendment rights of an intruder."

Dissenting opinion - "Without question, the privacy interests of an individual in his home are substantial and deserving of significant protection. In finding these interests sufficient to justify the content regulation of protected speech, however, the Court commits two errors. First, it misconceives the nature of the privacy interests involved where an individual voluntarily chooses to admit radio communications into his home. Second, it ignores the constitutionally protected interests of both those who wish to transmit and those who desire to receive broadcasts that many including the FCC and this Court might find offensive"

I think he wants to cast doubt on the wikipedia writing process. He wants to show that frequent edits do not necessarily bring up the quality of an articlel, which is different from the consensus of wikipedia avocates who believe that in general the process would give us good quality articles.

The question is about the process. The lesson is not to put too much trust on wikipedia articles. And you see from slashdot comments that many people trust it very much.

BTW, your order is wronng. The proper order is:
1.The author already knows that some controversy exists about the dates.
    2. The author chose the article because of 1.
    3. And as he expected there is error about the date and no mention of the controversy.
    4. On top of that there are internal inconsistnencies caused by the iterative process.
