  1. No 20 pounds is a score, 25 a pony, 100 a ton and 500 a monkey.

I would score with a pony to get a ton of moneys.

  2. Nice troll, you've really brought out the ass-pies.

I'm indifferent to them. I wish I didn't have to use them to play games, but, for bloat/spy/drmware they do a decent job.

They're clearly in the right here. Kudos to them for blocking a client and any revenue they would have got selling that client's games. Long term this is a smart move and besides being "right" will also help them retain customer loyalty.

Dating sites are terrible for most guys, because the male/female ratio is extremely high and thus women have the pick of the most physically attractive and wealthy guys.

Fortunately, I've not had to use a dating site ever because I married the right woman early in my adulthood! However, I have 2 stats for you. 1 is disheartening, the other may be encouraging.

First, disheartening for all those guys not have sex. 20% of all guys have 80% of all the sex.

Now the encouraging statistic. Men might out-number women in your age bracket; however, I read an article not too long ago that said that once you hit late-thirties, men get more success than women from dating apps. The reason for this is 2 fold. 1) Women are more likely to date older men than men dating older women- so age works in your advantage. 2) Women are more interested in finding a man as they age.

So yeah, 20's and 30's you have a lot more competition- numbers work in favour of the ladies... By the time you're in your 40's the girls will be fighting over you!

Yahoo had an interesting approach with LaunchCast about 15 years ago.

Their algorithm was a little different- it worked by looking at how you voted and looked to see what songs people who voted similar to you liked. (rather than the complicated "heavily syncopated in a minor key with latin roots" stuff that Amazon works on).

I really liked LaunchCast- shame they ditched it. (actually they changed it to something completely different before ditching it).
