    It would have ir cameras and other sensors, so it would see them coming, If you have something like a claymore strapped to the side you could discourage the enemy somewhat.

    What value do you place on human life?

    It seems smaller than the MULE robotic vehicle that I saw on a Military Channel documentary, which could carry 2000lbs and had more adaptable suspension.

    In fact it sounds like the guy that was the son of Marselius Caesar , his daughter Octavia married Wanax Ganton of Drantos
    (from the Janissaries series by Jerry Pournelle - does anyone know if he wrote anymore than 3 of those books. I dowloaded Tran from Baen, but it was incomplete, I have a paperback of the 3rd book, and at least the battle ended in that one.)

    Good idea if you have an electric car. But backup gas powered generators are a few hundred dollar to a couple of grand at your local hardware store.depending upon power output.

    I think 'slide switch to unlock portable device, which has been around since portable casserre audio players, and CD players . Just about every 'portable audio device I have had since the '90s has had it. I now have a MP3 player with a touchscreen that has it. Are Apple going to sue (Eclipse/Trio) them too?

    BTW I officially gave up on Apple in 1988
    (a[art from the actual fruit and beverages made from them, I am still waiting for them to sue Enza )

    America has this phenomena called 'weather' which makes push bikes impractical. For a few months of the year it is too hot and humid to walk, let alone ride a bike. In the winter time it is way too cold. (and 2 wheels don't work on ice and snow very well. Rain can be a problem too.

    I am fortunate that I live close enough to where I work that I can walk there - it takes about 20 minutes. Many people live over an hours drive from their workplace, so biking would take too long.
