    Wires are not cheap. A USB cable cost $8 The radio chip probably cost $2.

    But the claims are what matter. You have to read the claims to see what is being patented. The abstract is just there to give the claims some framework for understanding what new and novel things are being claimed.

    You are correct. You have to read the claims. The abstract is just background stuff to help the examiner understand what the hell the claims are.

    What are you talking about? 0 is ground 1 is vcc. Tri state mean the node is not driving allowing another gate to drive the node.

    No they have not. There was an article a while back where studio exectutives said that it is getting harder to buy a good first weekend becasue word gets out that the movie sucks. There was no talk about banning phones.

    There were no patents involved in this case. I don't know why it says so in the intro. X10 did not pay people ond those people won a judgement. There are no patents involved in this case.

    The problem with voting absentee is that you don't know if your vote will be counted. In the 2000 Florida recount mess both sides were trying to toss out chunks of absentee ballots on what I consider pretty flimsy reasoning.
