PDF and eBook is so-so. Don't get me wrong it is very usable-- that is what I mainly use one for now, that and email.

But I am coveting the Kindle I bought my wife for her birthday. It much much much easier to read a book on the Kindle than the n810. There is more screen and the screen so much easier on the eyes. I love that eInk stuff. Just keep it out of the direct sunlight or you have little evil kindles running all over the place. the cracks are from the water in the ground freezing underneath the asphalt and the natural expanding of the water molecules that rips the asphalt in two. But, asphalt stretches a lot more than cement (and "cracks" shouldn't be frequent), is more easily repaired than cement, and so is generally preferred over cement in these kinds of locations, aka, Alaska. The two most detrimental things to asphalt roads? studded tires and frost heaves. The most detrimental things to cement roads? Frozen ground that thaws and tips those concrete sections so that they don't line up.

A teacher who has a room full of kids who gives him|her no respect and who has no authority (which they hardly have now, either) will not be able to teach a damn thing.

Respect does not mean dumb subjectivity.

2- it has the graffiti area instead of the stupid keypad

    Cons:
1- it's gray scale, not color like I was used to. But I think I will adjust
2- processor is a little slow. But I think I can deal with it.

Overall, I am pretty satisfied. It cost me $100 shipped, was unlocked, and worked immediately with Cingular but will also work with T-Mobile and AT+T.

I have had some issues with crashing... but these seem to be all going back to corrupt records in my calendar or contacts. I've cleaned up and haven't had a problem in days (I had phone less than a week). It was nasty there for the first two days.

I am just now at the stage that I am starting to add my applications back to the phone.

I went beyond custom shelving. I did a beautiful built-in shelving. You have to use an interior wall, not exterior.

    1. Cut big hole in sheet rock-- for aesthetic reasons you probably should go about the same size as other windows, but bigger is ok-- it will look like a monster picture window on the interior wall. Oh yeah, do your best to make sure you don't have power and/or pipe problems. I had to re-route a power cable, but not too bad.
    2. Cut out some 2x4 framing, but probably not all. I left one in the middle and dressed it up with trim/quarter round; it looks good like a piece of window framing.
    3. Prime, paint inside piece of sheetrock (this is the backside of the wall on the other side). Mine is real nice color of blue. It looks great and is striking from the white wall and shelving. If you know someone artistic, have them do mural or something.
    4. Build shelving frame and pieces and nail'em in.I framed the top, bottom, and sides exactly the same as the shelves themselves. It's big box I assembled in the wall, with shelves.
Mine sticks out from the wall about an inch and half-- fits those old stupid fancy VHS cases perfectly, as well as dvd's, picture frames, books, etc. You get a bit over five inches if I remember correctly. The bottom three shelves are just tall enough for those stupid moster VHS tape boxes, and the upper two or three are different sizes to accomodate big 8x10 frames, books, etc. It is now media storage and display case.
    5. Stand back and soak in the admiration of family and visitors.

Tools needed: measuring tape, pencil, table saw or similar, hammer, paint brush, spackle knife, hand saw for frame removal, router if you need to make some fancy trim to cover a frame piece left in (I also routed slots for the shelves), brain.

So, just make an OU for contacts, dump the contacts in with Perl, create accounts for your salesy people and give them admin privilege of the contacts ou. It'll take a little time to get all the bugs worked out and lusers trained, but it will be functional from the start. I think.

Then you hire someone to come in and write a couple of little Perl CGI's using the PerlDap module or the variety of others available. I've been messing around with one that allows lusers to update a few of their records via Apache (perl modules CGI, PerLdap; Apache module mod_auth_ldap). Not too hard.
