Every time I fire up Netflix these days I see more original content. It actually takes me a while to peruse the new titles to see if they interest me. They are being very aggressive in that regard it's simply that they are in the early stages so the library is still relatively small compared to a Paramount or WB. I mean they announced two years ago DareDevil would be the first of five new Marvel titles. Jessica Jones followed and Luke Cage was released a couple of weeks back. Iron Fist is just around the corner to be followed up by The Defenders. Heck The Punisher rated so well in DareDevil they green-lit a new series for him as well. And that's just the Marvel stuff. They have content for most popular genres.
Samsung has been at odds with Google for years over their Android mandates. Other manufacturers just didn't have the clout to fight like Samsung. This could be just the justification other OEM's need to take up the Tizen, Oxygen, or another OS banner and ween themselves off of Android.
I graduated from ITT in 1989 so I have first hand knowledge of their practices. I actually had an instructor who was an electrical engineer. He was quite adept at discussing electrical theory but ITT made him a lab manager against his protests and he was unable to build the simplest of circuits. Another instructor taught us how to bluff our way through an interview to get a job you weren't qualified for. He did encourage us to study the subject material of the job if we happened to get it. And I was speaking to a classmate once about what he planned to do once he graduated. It turns out he was a professional student. He was easily in his 50's and simply took classes full time to get a government stipend. I was pretty naive at the time so it was actually quite an education.
I didn't see any mention of the productivity losses incurred by heightened security either. Our VPN is so locked down it's almost impossible to get things done remotely unless you happen to work in a business unit that is permitted to use terminal servers. To this day we aren't allowed to have video conferencing with parties outside the corporate firewall. I'd estimate the productivity loss to be around 5-10% of overall effectiveness.
WOW! What stupid brain-dead comment. I don't hate AMD at all. I have used AMD products repeatedly over the years. This was a joke. It appears the SJW's have taken over the moderation system and the cry babies are coming out of the woodwork. I have even had numerous comments deleted in recent months despite this site claiming it never does. It's a sad, sad day for/.
AMD today announced they have hired several new software engineers. AMD's CTO stated they were very fortunate to acquire several talented individuals. Apparently they had recently completed a project with Volkswagen.
I should have been clearer in stating I know an equal number of EE's who are adept at a wide range of disciplines. I was pointing out there are those for whom transitioning to another skillset would be traumatic.
I know EE's who can design elaborate circuits in their sleep but could not assemble a simple JK flip-flop circuit from discrete components. Their brains are so higher function they struggle with simple ideas. It's kinda like asking a professional weightlifter to compete in a 440K. Both require athletic ability but one doesn't necessarily qualify you for the other.
Apple may not care about DRM one way or the other but they do care about people bypassing their cash generating MFi program and their proprietary lightning connector and using the "audio" jack as a data connection interface. I'm sure they're still trying to figure out how to make Square pay the fee.
They should be required to disclose how many customers on on the same node you are. Yes you are guaranteed 40Mbps down shared amongst the 372 apartments in you building.
You can thank Jeff Bezos for that. He had the app intentionally borked to not work on Android TV and I suspect it didn't help it functionality overall. There are workarounds but ultimately it's such a PITA I stopped trying.
I used HULU the first month it came out so I know how long it's been around. It's funny you mention Disney as a backer of HULU since Some of the best original content on Netflix are Disney properties (DareDevil, Jessica Jones, and soon The Punisher, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and The Defenders). But the fact remains HULU is niche product (although 12 million subscribers is nothing to sneeze at) looking for that breakaway hit but the networks keep trying to get it using the old style pablum "we'll feed it to you when we're ready for you to have it" mentality. If I want that I'll get a Tablo/Channel Master DVR+ and an antenna.
The networks have been trying to get something to compete with Netflix for years and fortunately so far they have failed miserably. Amazon is doing well but they had to tie their service to their Prime subscription as an add-on to get the traction they now have. Even so I watch Netflix original shows 10 to 1 over Prime. If the RIAA/MPAA/Networks get a foothold you know they will do everything they can to close it off and jack up the price.
Another good example is when a truck commercial states it has the most towing capacity and then quietly adds "in its class" and down at the bottom of the screen is a disclaimer about the class they are talking about which if you were quick enough and had the eyesight to see it could go look up to find it is the ONLY truck in the class because the manufacturer invented the class so it could make the statement in its commercial.
They would be much more discrete than that.

Or played Mass Effect 2.

I've had the opposite experience. Every order shipped via Amazon shipping has gotten lost.
Aetna's mutual fund got a shot in the arm as Apple stock in the portfolio jumped on news of a large sale of Apple watches.
Thanks for asking the question. I didn't know about Mycroft until I looked for an Intelligent Personal Assistant.

The BlackBerry Priv is an Android Slider with a physical keyboard. They're pricey new but You can pick one up for about $350 used.

Is this submission saying that Release Candidate 4 of IE 11 AND Edge were pulled? I didn't even know there was a Release Candidate 3!

Comcast is more than likely engaging in "Hollywood" accounting so I would take anything they say publicly with pillar of salt.
Without punitive damages (loss of right of ways, permission to do business) they will laugh this off and keep right on going.

You are correct. In fact Niantic has already announced plans for Mario Kart. It's gonna be a smash hit!
But he didn't MEAN to do it. That should have been enough to get him off.
