The internet ones will just re-brand every 30 days (like the stores that sell counterfeit clothing, wedding dresses, and such do) and have a clean slate again.
Don't forget Google changing its name to Alphabet.
I can read. I have a 10" tablet that came with a folio keyboard and runs Windows 10. I had several Android/iOS tablets and they couldn't do what I needed. If you count Windows 2-in-1's as tablets then yes...they are more popular than desktops/laptops.
I'm not saying it's aliens...But it's aliens! (The extra-terrestrial kind not the undocumented immigrant kind) They are terraforming the planet for their impending invasion.
I understand why Apple locked down hardware interfaces on their devices back when you plugged most accessories into the bottom of your phone, but why do they still continue to do it now in the era of wireless?
the Bluetooth interface still doesn't let you open a serial port profile with another Bluetooth device unless you have paid silly amounts of money to get your product through MFI.
There is research that shows most foods we eat today are less nutrient dense than they were a century ago. Plants get their nutrients from the soil and the soil gets its nutrients from decaying plants/animals. Farming has led to the soil being nutrient depleted even when they fertilize. So we end up with food with less oomph.
Virtually all of Tesla's "inventions" were completely impractical (and no, not "ahead of his time"), whereas Edison's inventions were made for the market.
You're right...The transistor, Radio, Radar, AC are all so impractical/s
What Edison was good at was selling other people's inventions (AKA made for the market)
It's obvious you read the books Edison or his estate had a hand in crafting. While a bit tongue-in-cheek TheOatmeal does a decent job of chronicling The exploits of Edison and Tesla. Edison was an ass by most accounts. I mean he tortured and killed animals to discredit Tesla FFS! This isn't speculation. He held public demonstrations in which he subjected animals to AC to demonstrate how dangerous it is. All so he could sell his DC power plants (which Tesla helped him create). Had he succeeded we would all be living with a power plant on every other city block.
I have the utmost respect for Tesla's brilliance. I also believe many of the inventions credited to Edison were created by Tesla when he worked for Edison as a patent clerk. That said, there is a mountain of evidence of Tesla's mental decline from numerous sources. As for the pigeon, here is the relationship in Tesla's own words.
"I have been feeding pigeons, thousands of them for years. But there was one, a beautiful bird, pure white with light grey tips on its wings; that one was different. It was a female. I had only to wish and call her and she would come flying to me. I loved that pigeon as a man loves a woman, and she loved me. As long as I had her, there was a purpose to my life."
Many men of greatness eventually succumbed to some form of madness in their later years. And no matter what you may think of Musk. He's clearly brilliant.
He named his car co. Tesla after a super genius who eventually went completely insane and ended up in a relationship with a pigeon. Perhaps he's following a little too closely in Tesla's footsteps.
I was watching The Magic Pill last week and in it they interview a former vegan. She explained the reason she is no longer vegan was the fact that when she began growing her own food she wanted the best nutrition for her growing garden. What she found was the best food for her plants was...animals. All of the best growing fertilizers utilized some part of an animal (usually blood) to enrich the soil. This led to her epiphany that whether we eat them or the plants eat them they are going to get eaten. Just as plants process carbon to make the air we breath they process deceased animals to be eaten by living animals.
It's fitting that the story comes from the Washington Post since this has nothing to do with Amazon and EVERYTHING to do with the smear job WAPO has been doing to Trump. Bezos owns WAPO so Trump blames Bezos for everything WAPO does. What amazes me is with all the ammunition Trump freely provides the press WAPO still finds ways to push the envelope on twisting the truth.
A USG is actually an EdgeRouter with extra code to interface with the UniFi controller. It can still be configured the way the EdgeRouter is. The beauty of the UniFi controller is having the most commonly accessed areas at a glance. And you don't have to leave it running unless you are utilizing guest services ( and who doesn't want to be able to set their WiFi up to accept payment from the family/friends when they come over? ). You can even run it from a Raspberry Pi.
I have a Windows tablet that has an x64 chip but for whatever reason they put an x86 UEFI BIOS. It won't load an x64 OS despite having the hardware to do so.
If I'm understanding the summary, and I very well may not, this is exactly what BlackBerry Blend did on BBOS 10. It was quite slick being able to throw my device up on my big screen and use the PC keyboard to finish that email I started while on the bus.

I suspect they include 2-in-1 devices like the Microsoft Surface Book as "tablets" Otherwise this statements makes no sense whatsoever.

I can tell you aren't even bothering to look up my references so all I can say is...Enjoy the kool-aid.

So you're saying /. is wrong for posting this story on their arrest? I'm confused...

this atomic fridge will be the coldest known place in the universe
They are clearly all single. Otherwise they would know the coldest place known to man is a woman who's mad at you.
Isn't that obvious? Get arrested and sent to prison so you can access their database.
My password predicament went away when I changed all mine to correcthorsebatterystaple !
They looked out on the horizon and saw IBM coming for them.
I don't think the idea was to standardize on a single hardware vendor.
You must be new here. All you had to do was post 927.

We all know it's coming. Tim cook is going to come out on stage and tell everyone "You're holding it wrong!"
