    Or you can keep users free from the controll of developers.

    Without context free is just a useless word (like all the rest of 'em).

    Love the cookie swapping idea... mind if I steal it? I was thinking about bots to send random searches in the background all the time mingled with old searches and mutated versions. Also a real time one where I search for "nexus 7" or something and the bots send 10 additional random searches and just pipes the responces for those into null).

    Yes.

    Well, not more than normal... all games in a casino favour the house. Why cheat when your winning. Also crown is only legally able to take a certain percentage (this is why they are often "giving away" cars to slot players near the end of the financial year... balancing the excess wins) so taking more than normal would leave them with (more) accounting issues (than they already have).

    Also, no book search system is faster or more intuitive than the trusty flip-the-pages-with-your-thumb maneuver.

    No way, are you crazy? I was forced to use hard copy when I started my job... when I finally convinced them to let me use digital searching got so much faster. You can't find all occurances of "maximum value" or "s3.2.3" in a 300 page document quicker on paper than on digital. It is just not possible to search print faster than digital.

    What is your view on the Replicant Project? Is it on the right track or something you could imagine yourself using? or are there important parts of the puzzle still missing? or another similar project you have more faith in (e.g firefox os)?
