    maybe they wanted to fix the photographer. the desk in magazines and newspapers does a lot of cropping and enhancing anyway, besides its wartime--what do you expect. Just that some sharpeyed girl noticed, so the buck stopped at the photographer. when entire articles are imaginary disinformation, whats a couple of pictures. no, there's something else.

    i met a man who was a traditional indian stone mason and accomplished builder and teacher.A UNESCO heritage person. He builds stone shrines. He said all things crumble, stone lasts longer, but the factor of longevity of a structure is nothing but SIZE. referred to pyramids of egypt as example. nothing but size played the main role in longevity, he said.

    how can i be sure? I know when I busted a toy.this was in a new house we shifted to. I also remember playing with the intact toy on a linoleum-like patterned surface, which my parents confirmed we had in our house.

    for one successful Dolly sheep clone there were several (maybe 200) failures. I think human cloning has been tried out in secret in many labs round the world, but hasnt been made public due to some defects. But cloning like this is nothing.
    wait for tutankhaman or borgias (first such post) or... adolf to be cloned. There was a book on adolf clones some years ago. soon there may be mammoth ---or neanderthal clones too.

    it should be easy to identify the genes cusing the particular smells. with targeted genetic drugs you could smell like someone from beijing or kabbul or arizona (just examples).but wouldnt diet really have the maximum effect on how you smell?

    why not have unique number tatoos on the inside of forearms? its quite fashionable so people wont really mind. Or it could be invisible to our eyes, but readable by machines only. every now and then you could upgrade your information like bank accounts, credit, tax records, health...just wave your arm out of the car and the tolltax is paid. Prior art actually, so no question of patenting.

    not to be facetious, but what about some research to introduce photosynthetic genes into humans. or these heavy metal leaching genes to absorb and collect the toxic metals in dead tissue like fingernails or hair in human beings. you could wallow in mud in the sun and put on weight...solve the food problem in future, too.
