Many parts of the eloquently written open source code will probably be used many times... and in proprietary software as well. Check out the source of many of these and you'll find the original comments from the author. Makes me kinda say fuckit with the whole copywrite thing... just want to code, If I find a better way of doing something, even better.

Whats the perfect amount of carbon in our atmosphere for humanity. I dont think people have figured this out yet, and its important. Perhaps the amount is what we have now.... any more things will get bad... any less bad as well.

If its about saving lives then invest in your streets and sidewalks as well (tech). Clear some of those Vars the Car has to deal with.
