This software just uses "XML"HttpRequest to download javascripts which it will subsequently run eval() on - no XML involved. It'd be real nice if people would wake up to the fact that AJAX is most often AJA.
I had the same problem the first time I sat down with it, and delayed it for a couple of years. When I found the time to actually play through the thing it was the most intense gaming experience ever. The end will make your back shiver.
The game is still relevant so load it up on a laptop or something, since it has almost no system requirements, and play through what will probably be the last computer RPG with a real story.
What's with these Xbox lovers? I've ran all my PC games at 1600x1200 with anti-aliasing since april (2004) with high framerates (60+). Many other PC gamers do too.
And the *next generation* of Xbox won't allow higher resolutions?
Other than the low price, why to Xbox users bother with these ugly things which are always outdated the month after they're launched?
Their popular "Photoshop Album" digital image management for home users, uses QT. It's very probable that Adobe already has in house expertise with this cross platform development library, and will use it to port Photoshop itself.
Please - KDE is much more than a Window Manager. KDE contains as one small part of the whole, a window manager called "KWin", but it can use any other conforming to the standards.
If you have no time to play games, it's probably because your S.O. doesn't have a proper life of her/his own, probably lacking hobbies and other things to fill their free time. This one-sidedness is certain to ruin a relationship in the long run anyway - you both need to be independently occupied at least parts of your free time.
Help your S.O. to a more full life and you should have no problems getting time for your own activities. Many people believe this to be one of the primary tasks of a S.O. - to help live life to the fullest.
Oh, and by the way - I am implying that Opera is based on core KDE originated libraries - something they've so far claimed it is not. They're LGPL'ed so it's probably no legal problem - but it kinda stinks.
The vulnerability was first discovered in Opera, and was later found to also exist in Konqueror of KDE fame. Since Safari is based on the Konqueror code, that's probably where it came from.
the OZ rom is sooo superior, yet you can't read your email and you can't (really) browse the web;)
just kidding...
have you tried running the qtmail client in OZ? i see it's located at/home/QtPalmtop/bin/qtmail on my Z - which i'll be upgrading to OZ sometime soon:)
Get the facts straight - how are you expecting people to take you seriously when you mention Nerf as a prominent Unreal license game, but fail to mention a big seller and excellent game like Deus Ex?

Ok, Mozilla is cool and it's GPL (soon to be at least). But most people will probably use binaries from AOL, who, if I recall correctly, didn't find the idea of allowing easy blocking of ads etc. too appealing some time ago - I don't recall what that issue resulted in.
There is one browser though, which isn't controlled by large corporations, is very fast and cool - try out the version of Konqueror in the later KDE2 previews, I'm sure you'll love it as much as I do.

The team at LG were responsible for some of the most amazing games - always well ahead of their time, which at least for System Shock, led to poor sales. I was looking forward to their next titles, most of all Thief 3 - the last thing the developers did before closing up was to tell everyone how great it would have been. The nerve of some people!;)
I guess the only "bad" thing you can say about an incredible team of artists like LG is they didn't port any of their games to linux:|
I think I'll brush the dust off Ultima Underworld I/II and play through them in memory of good old times. Of course, this time, I'll run them through dosemu:)
David Weber's space opera series starring Honor Harrington is not to be missed - perhaps especially because of the strong protagonist woman, Honor, whom the books center around, will probably appeal to your niece:)
Start with "On Basilisk Station" and work your way through them - excellently written space war with a strong political and social angle.
There's no such thing as a free launch.
... actually making the gameplay any fun at all. Who cares about perfect eyeball movement in a game that will bore you to death?
A bunch of diaper-wearers in a cramped space, all with diplomatic immunity...
after all, it it is a chicken disease we're talking about.

Bloody swahili-linux doesn't impress me very much. Please consider a real distro (like Gentoo).
... and would appreciate it if fewer such articles could be posted. Thanks.

What tests are you referring to?

Try it out for yourself and find out why none of us KDE users can live without its Browser, its E-mail client or its complete office suite.

OpenSSH pre 2.3.0 is also vulnerable, so don't be getting any false sense of security here.

Just received this link. Seems MS can't keep track of its own sites, much less other's.
