When it comes to the moving to the "Cloud" I always purpose this question, is it safe ? is it secure ? Would you Mr. CEO place a file on there that includes your Home address, the names and social security numbers of you and your children, their schools addresses, and the times of day your children are left home alone ?

If you answer No to any of these then why do you feel it is safe for your company to put its data there ?

    Just my 2 cents.

Everyone has access to everything so no more need to pay iTunes store / Amazon / Pandora / preferred Capitalist 3rd party money pit. Just visit the socialtaxmusic.com or socialist.music.world.com site and download your music. The recording artists will also have to pay the same Tax. Opt out of paying the tax by selecting the I don't listen to music check box on your tax form. The audit police may get you if you get caught with any of the previous years top 20 on you computer, and send you a bill for that 0.001% of your income. For example if the average person globally made 7,880 USD a year and would get taxed $0.08 per year. Which even a person clearing $1,000,000 a year would owe $10. This should give the authors and artists an extra $500 million a year to stop complaining about people enjoying what the produce. Not to mention the Billions it would save on legal costs. If you are really concerned about not being exposed to the Propaganda and Advertising you don't use the device the Provider wants you to. Who wants a DVR box that you don't have direct file access to? Or that down samples recordings because it wasn't built with enough Hardware to record more than 80 hours at 480i, That doesn't give you the ability to stream your recordings to a personal device on your home network. I would much rather see all advertising banned. Move to a Materials + Labor + Shipping * Margin = Product price market rather than today's. Materials + Labor +Shipping + TV As + Billboard Ads + Lobbying + Magazine Ads + Internet Ads * Margin = Product at artificially bloated price point. I buy the same things week after week month after month. Why ? because I have tried several brands of products and I stick with what provides the best results or more cost effective solution. So trying to convince me the competitor has changed because he has dumped another few million dollars into advertising rather than making his product better is just an exercise in stupidity on part of the manufacturer.
