I might not listen to music on the radio at all, but I listen to NPR on the radio on a daily basis. Younger me would never have done so, but I find a lot of their content interesting and/or informative.
Unfortunately it is currently forecasted to take at least 25 years for WI to recoup its investment, and possibly much, much longer:
>Officials have said Foxconn, formally known as Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., will employ about 1,000 people in the second half of 2017 and employment will grow to 13,000 by 2021.
The bureau based its analysis on Foxconn reaching its threshold of 13,000 employees, Reinhardt said. If the actual employment number was 3,000, the break-even point would be so far in the future that it is "silly to talk about," he said.
Yes, peaceful protesting worked so well for Dr. King. How did that turn out again?
Oh, that's right. The whole "got murdered in broad daylight" thing.
But, less sarcastically, what I find to be so noble and admirable about his tactics is that he knew that would happen and incorporated it into his philosophy.
After the assassination of President Kennedy in 1963, King told his wife Coretta, "This is what is going to happen to me also. I keep telling you, this is a sick society."
It's only accessible over the intranet, so no privacy worries here (at least from 3rd parties -- I know that management reviews chat logs periodically, as is their right).
Trump and his wonderful deregulations just announced today that Cable providers don't need to do this. I have to wonder if Comcast was aware of this before their announcement?
"Former FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler, who had been appointed by Barack Obama, criticized the move, calling it a victory for "Cablewood over consumers." He also took a jab at Trump on Twitter. "$200 million Pai Tax on helpless cable subs. Trump helping little guy??"
...was Puck-Man? You'd think it was because he looks like a hockey puck, but it actually comes from the Japanese phrase 'Paku-Paku,' which means to flap one's mouth open and closed. They changed it because they thought Puck-Man would be too easy to vandalize, you know, like people could just scratch off the P and turn it into an F or whatever."
Some of us were worried that Trump was going to be petty, and seek revenge against those who he felt wronged him in the past, especially during the campaign.
Maybe not for work, but I buy and listen to CDs, I burn CDs/DVDs for myself and others, pull information off of archival CDs and DVDs, pick up Blurays of movies I really like.
You name it, pretty much.
I understand that optical media's use is declining, and that makes sense for a lot of reasons, but there are still uses for it today. It seems that some folks are eager for it to die, for some reason.
> Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lu Kang said he was unaware of reports that the game could be a security risk and that he didn't have time to play with such things.
Of course he doesn't, too busy trying to fight his way through the tournament and take out Shao Khan.
I've built several dozen pcs over the last 16-17 years and I enjoy it, especially gaming pcs. It's like building a hot rod, and every time I just have to see how fast it goes, because it automatically becomes the new fastest pc I have ever built.
I can understand the author's point of view, but don't relate to it at all. Having built my own pcs for several years now is a point of personal pride, because I've learned enough to do it well, and I don't mind keeping up with the latest tech news about the latest innovations.
I'm the opposite of an Apple user, let me pick and choose exactly what I want for my hardware and software, it's more cost-effective and more gratifying in the long run.

Was this approved accidentally...?

I think it's a little closer to "Don't have kids, don't have pets, just kill yourself now."
Okay fine, I have two: Rocket Player and one for local highway traffic provided by the city.
That's it, though. All the other apps that are installed came with the phone. I should probably remove those...

I'll be doing the same myself once I can no longer run Windows 7.
MS screwed up big time when it abandoned the most popular, most well- liked OS in their entire history to go a completely different direction.
I don't know anyone who upgraded from XP to 7 and was then sorry, I only heard positive things.
That's like a championship sports team trading away all of their best players for a bunch of rookies. Makes no sense at all.
I don't own any Amazon devices, and that is not going to change.

Of course it was a clone, we could never afford a real IBM!
HUGE pizza-box style case with dual floppy drives. Stock clock speed: 6MHz, but you could push a button to enable Turbo mode, which ran at 12MHz!
I was also always glad that my parents picked us up an amber monochrome monitor, rather than a green one. I liked amber so much better.
Cut and dried, really.

Whew, sure glad to see that's not the case!

Elizabeth Holmes looks like some sort of ghoul, or vampire in that picture, slavering and bloodthirsty. Yikes.
I am sure there is space at the incubator.
