It's not a router comparison. You don't need an Xfinity public-facing WiFi router, so this is energy usage in addition to what you would otherwise need for your own purposes.
when you're done, you can find a sheaf of wadding in the nightstand, often marked with a cross. you just tear out the pages, crumple them up, and stuff the hole with them.
In all honesty, I didn't know it was a beer can. I thought it was a pop can, but then I considered whether I should say "pop can" or "soda can." Then I thought it would be easiest to just say "beverage can." Believe me, I love beer and I don't generally adhere to PC direction.
If it's the same guy/car that was featured last week, there is a sensor built into the steering wheel. The dude circumvented the system (by attaching a beverage can to the steering wheel) so it would think a driver was present and actively engaged. I'm guessing he did the same again.
In reality, I suspect it's government infighting, poorly defined (and constantly changing) specs, and congress-critters trying to get a piece of the pie for their own districts.
Sure, there's no doubt those things come into play. However, Lockheed isn't new here. They've dealt with plenty of government contracts, and they should be well aware of these conditions. Take your estimates and triple or quadruple them if you have to.
That's just the benefit of the doubt you get when you're dead. Your paintings are worth more, your songwriting suddenly carries new weight (see: Kurt Cobain), the awful shit about you is quickly forgotten, and the virtue embellished. The only thing certain about a martyr is that they're dead. The rest of their reputation may bear no resemblance to real events.
You seriously don't think this happens already? Taxis are "required" to do lots of things they don't (like take credit cards). See how many taxis will pick you up or drop you off in a shit neighborhood. Hell, I've been denied taxi service to good neighborhoods just because the cab driver didn't feel like going that direction.
Oh, and taxis are not part of a public transportation system.
it says it can intercept the content of phone calls, faxes...
I've sat on the sidelines since the whole NSA "revelations" began unfolding, but I've finally had enough. I'll not stand by and let the government continue intercepting my faxes.
Often times in socialist countries, there is a lot of back door and secret meetings where deals are made and the people are not aware of have no choice in the matter. Sometimes it works out in their benefit, but a lot of times it's nothing more then wealth redistribution to the rich and powerful. Often times the real cost of the deal is realized generations later...
Thank god that only happens in those socialist countries!
Uber is not going anywhere any time soon. It's dramatically better than the alternative (taxi). There will be bitching and moaning and lobbying in some areas, but it's too late to stop the paradigm shift. Twitter and WhatsApp and OpenTable are easily imitable, so those are more susceptible to cultural shifts and trends.
"Of all drug-related arrests, 82% are for possession, and more than half of those are for marijuana. Basically, the war on drugs winds up being focused on marijuana possession, despite the fact that it is less addictive than other illegal drugs and is not pharmacologically linked with violence or overdose the way alcohol is." http://healthland.time.com/201...
Most of the busts are small-time end-users.
I almost referenced that song as well!:) Spend enough time on the north side, and you will absolutely have your car towed by Lincoln Towing. I've twice had my own car towed by them from spots I was paying to rent. Neither time would the company who leased me the space do anything on my behalf. There's a good reason those fuckers are behind bullet-proof glass.
MiniDisc was way ahead of its time. It filled a real gap for live recording enthusiasts as a portable solution before hard drive storage became portable/affordable. I had one with an Otter Box that had binaural microphones embedded in it. Was a great option for recording shows (band-permitted, not illicitly) in the late 90s/early 00s.
I take it you've never done much parking in Chicago. It's routine to ticket cars that are legally parked. Guilty until proven innocent. They know some portion of them won't fight it (or don't know they can fight it) and it will pay off. It's not like everyone's pissed off at the goody-goody hall monitor, it's that a lot of police forces are filled with assholes and criminals (e.g., CPD).

I thought that was for rolling joints?

... was already subscription based? :p
The top players should have to compete in some new, heretofore unseen game a la the Wizard.

Maybe I'll finally be able to play Classical Gas!

How much of that malware is sitting on Microsoft's shitty operating system?

You can shit out infinite iterations when you have exclusive locks on sports leagues (re: Madden).
War-themed first-person shooters, however, are a different story.

You got it. That's why DVDs used 720x480 resolution despite having a 4:3 aspect ratio. CRTs used irregularly shaped pixels.

It's not *free* wi-fi. You still have to have a Comcast account to connect to any one of them.

A manic maniac?
It would only be double-jeopardy if he went completely through trial and judgement. Since it was vacated, it was like it never happened.
