    I hope "innovate or die" will keep people warm in winter. Otherwise I hope they stick to their "it's my right to demand a lower price and it's not my problem" principle and let's see what happens then...

    And you wonder if the prices go DOWN?

    Sure they can go down and most definitely some companies go bankrupt but count on it the prices will go up after that...

    Actually Russian agents within the NSA are leaking real information through what the rest of the NSA believes is false information ans Snowden is involved in this operation playing along with the game, letting the NSA believe the intended plan was to defecting to Russia and feed the Russians false information...

    Of course most of us don't need that gadget, but it's cool to see an older nerd like that picking up nerd-skills and making cool nerd stuff.
    Instead of saying "that is cute, but Simpsons did it" you can also say like "you must have had a lot of fun making it" and enjoy his enthusiasm :)

    Too many times a researches made a fancy spread sheet, added some stuff over the years and then wants a decent application that does the same.
    Many times the problems they're working on are very interesting, but it's a BIG challenge to rewrite everything to a normal application :)
    But of course we like challenges like that :)

    Laws against cell phone use have not reduced accident rates.

    Why is it so hard to understand that safety with cars is the ONLY priority. A text or a phone call can wait.
    If anybody that needs a law to understand that shouldn't be driving. It's that simple.

    Still, the mechanism "you do something, you get something in return" seems to work better than "do nothing and get stuff for free" since well, you figure it out...
    The real problem begins (or it starts to get interesting) where too much of the things that can be done is being automated and there isn't enough work to do for less educated people.
