    Traffic is dangerous too, so it's the same there.
    If your text messages are so important that it can't wait 10 minutes, you better be so bloody important that you can afford a driver.

    The police is reacting extremely violent in the protests against Erdogan, the Turkish prime Minister. Streets were littered with tear gas canisters. Several people have been killed or shot and who knows how many people are wounded.
    In the mean time CNN Turkey is showing a documentary about penguins and also other news organisations in Turkey are ignoring the protests.

    Facebook and Twitter do indeed play an important role in the protests. For instance it helps organize medical aid for wounded and communication about the severe cases that need urgent help and need to be transported to a hospital.

    And all the time I was thinking the setup function of WordPress was the shoot self in foot option, given the amount of phishing sites that are hidden on servers hosting WordPress.
    But that is a nice example of what gadzook33 means. It's very easy to set up a site, but actually maintaining and securing it requires more knowledge about servers and security. But hey, setup, ok, ok, ok and it works, so we're done. Not.

    As a team you decide all code will be reviewed. All code. Comply.

    As for the technology: a manager has to be very clear about this. Explain he / she is falling behind. Explain what new technologies you want him to learn. Explain that the company needs him to learn this new things. Offer help / courses / whatever.
    And finally: "You update your skills (smart targets) or we lower (or don't increase) your salary."
