You didn't own a copy of a movie, CD or book. You owned a piece of plastic or a bundle of paper, and were granted a limited license to the content. In a lot of places it's still technically illegal to media-shift your CD so you can listen to it with your MP3 player.
"big media" got the best of both worlds. They charge you for a licence to listen to a song. They charge you again when you buy a new CD because your old one got scratched - you don't get a rebate because you already own a licence. They charge you again when you want to buy it in another media format - it still costs the same as the CD, despite no physical media. They charge you again when you want to stream it from someone else - they're not even paying for the bandwidth.
Our current government is run by a bunch of leftie vote buyers. They bought their way into power with free university education and a bunch of other policies they are now realising can't be funded.
One of those vote buying policies was making it harder for foreigners to buy residential property, because they did a survey of people at some house auctions and there were a lot of "Asian sounding names" - so they're blaming foreigners for our high house prices.
Anyone can get medical assistance for accidents here. I doubt there are many firmware engineer jobs though. https://www.immigration.govt.n...
Genuine brand named EpiPen's in New Zealand are $NZ120 each. They never skyrocketed like they did in USA.
The government usually replaces used epipens too, as everyone here is covered medically for accidents and anaphylaxis is usually caused by an accident.
Can you even buy Anapen's in USA? They're an alternative available in most countries. They've been around since 2010.
With what they claim to be higher single thread performance, I doubt it will be lower power. They would have said higher overall performance if they didn't have power/thermal limits with an equivalent number of cores.
I never said they were. Real estate and gold are more than just investments. People buy houses to live in and gold is a metal with some very good physical properties.
It's no more a currency than baseball cards. Sure, people may sometimes trade them for other goods or services, but mostly their value is overhyped by collectors.
Unless the tankless systems are gas powered, which they all should be unless you don't like hot water and are actually looking for "slightly warmer than the cold water tap"
I hope your water is hotter than 120F. It should be at least 130F at all times to ensure legionella doesn't grow inside it. 90F is a perfect temperature for it to grow. It prefers 70 - 115F to reproduce. 140F kills it.
Plastic expands and contracts with temperature just like everything else Having many separate layers that need to be precisely aligned means that the expansion of one plate is going to have an impact on the entire system.
If you've every done 3D printing, you'll know that PLA, ABS, Nylon, etc, all shrink when they cool down, leading to potential warping and having to print your ABS design 1.5 to 2.5% larger than you want it to be when it's cooled down. That's a 2.5% shrinkage with a 200 degree temperature difference.
Plastic has in general a higher thermal expansion that most metals. Have a look for yourself: https://www.engineeringtoolbox... the higher the number, the more it expands. Glass is around 4, plastics range between 40 and 120.
If you want to 3D print with nylon, you need to make sure you dry out the filament first, as it's quite hygroscopic and will absorb moisture from the air.
You seem to be totally ignorant as to how refraction works. How much the light bends depends on the ratio between the refractive index of lens and the medium it is in. Water and air have different indexes. Water on the surface of a lens causes distortion, regardless of the material the lens is made from.
Moisture can penetrate plastics too. controlling moisture content in plastic is a huge part of reliable production.
Let the employees take the brunt of the explosion, that's what they're paid for.

Property ownership becomes a burden when you buy things that don't last as long as they should.

There's the Marvell Armada series, but the good ones are expensive.
Their 8K series has 12 SERDES lanes that can provide PCIe lanes.
1 port PCIe x4 + 1 ports PCIe x2 +4 ports PCIe x1
The 12 lanes must then be shared with USB3, SATA, GbE, etc.
The nVidia Tegra SoC's also have PCIe

you said:
They're not great for creation (aside from home video).
but they actually said:
eaten at one end by the "creative workstation"
There was no assertion that phones/tablets are any good at content creation.
Some chips have 4 PCIe lanes (RK3399 for example)... That's 1/4 of what a modern GPU uses. And a generation behind too.
ARM still doesn't actually make chips, so all they can ever do is talk about process nodes.
That would be illegal, smuggling an item in someone else's bag.
I don't advocate being a criminal.
The 2 strokes in from 50's had longer range than this car, so not worse in all ways.
Looks about the same length as a Smart Fortwo
Massive compared to a BMW Isetta
Isetta: 2.29m
This thing: 2.4m
Smart fortwo: 2.5m
I never said they were.

Bitcoin isn't a currency.
The piping in the house holds a lot less energy than the water inside it, even if it's copper pipe. Lots of new houses have plastic pipes.
