Also, if you have troubles sleeping, use a thin towel to dry yourself after, and then use this towel either as a sheet, or under you (or what you like best) when trying to sleep. However, you don't want to increase the moisture in the room, as hot and wet is far worse than hot and dry.
I'm not an American, I live in Southern Europe where temperatures often go over 40C (*9/5 +32 = 104F IIRC the conversion).
Our ancestors managed to survive without AC using common sense.
1. Close every shutter early, and open them late (when the temperature is cooler outside). You don't want curtains, it won't work.
2. Limit your movements : you don't want to open the front door very ten minutes.
3. Shut down every electronic devices, or isolate the room in which they are.
4. Have a nap during the hottest hours of the day ( 2-5 PM), and profit of the coolest hours of the day : early in the morning, or a bit hotter, late at night. (Obviously, if you're not working, and have the time to do it.)
5. Drink often, and drink water.
6. Take care of the young, and the elderly. The latter are usually forgotten, and left alone. Have a look at the 2003 summer in France/Europe if you want to know what not to do. Sometime people were found dead days or even weeks after they actually died.
That's basic things that can make quiet a difference.
I find it funny that TFS talks about a Xi_b^* baryon with usb quarks, and goes on about its spin, as if it was common knowlegde, but has to precise that 3/2 is 1.5.
Regardless of the open-sourceness of Steam, the problem is still the same as it as always been with Linux : the marketshare is way too small for major companies to do Linux port, and most people who use desktop linux have Windows somewhere too. Apart from Valve and indie games, I highly doubt we will see AAA games for Linux in the next few years.
And then there is the issues of video drivers. Even if there have been good progress done recently, compatibility and performance are still way below Windows drivers.
Still, it's a good news, and it might be the first step that is needed to start.
The quality, definition, and everything, and implementation is getting better each time, but I've always felt something is lacking to make it truly like reality.
I don't know what is is, because it's beautiful, and almost every details are here, but it does not look true. Maybe it's because it's too good, ie it is lacking the defaults which make reality what it is?
I was having a look at one annonymous IRC channel more than a month ago, and I saw a few guys asking for a link to the "LOIC without the trojan". I assume this is the same one they are talking about in this article; so this not relly new.
I know Crysis has no demo, and BF3 only had the beta; I believe none of the top five games pirated has a demo.
It would be interesting to compare games with a good demo, and those which have none; I'd bet there would be quite a difference.
Also, interestingly, Crysis 2 is only present in the top 5 for PC, and does not appear in the Xbox top 5, which would led some credence to the benchmark argument.

What is not said in both article is that something like 80% of the planes will be built in India, and that there has been a huge technology transfer.
I don't know if it was the case with Eurofighter too, but I'm almost sure the Americans would have ever accepted it.
