Hmmm... I studied Thomas Hardy for my final secondary schooling examinations, and also read some Charles Dickins, and in their time they wrote for deadlines to have their 'phases' published in literature journals. Then with the advent of novels and more freely available print, many wrote for complete publishing, and Thomas Hardy re-edited some of his works for novel print.
In some of Charles' works, he introduces a character near the end of a phase, and then they never reappear! After meeting that deadline, he changes part of the direction of his piece.
Character development is very important in Fantasy-Fiction, so let's hope that Tad doesn't make that mistake - AND isn't forced to write to too strict deadlines.
The full circle of change in writing attitudes or behaviour as different mediums for print appear is quite fascinating.
' To vapor!' he crieth, and Chaucer did weep...

Notice how most administrators almost always lead the cry of 'vaporware' to which most/.'ers follow, but when a respected educational institution says they'll "put most of its coursework up on the Web over the next ten years" with "little... details" they applaud. Lets see if you can remember any of this in a decade!
Do I get a prize for seeing the remastered print the most times? (I work in a cinema *smile*).
What makes it so interresting is that the interpretation of its meaning is very debatable, and multiple tangents can be spawned from.
Is it a simple commentary of evolution, or the human condition? Or does it delve deeper to say that all species reach a certain stage of domination or complication and then fall victim to their ambitious desires beyond necessity; or some bizare combination of the two.
I'm going to watch it today in full before it goes.
FreeBSD does not yet recognise the 5.0 tree as their primary focus, but when they do we can assume that almost all bugs will be ironed out, however it has often been the case that there has remained one or two rather large bugs.
The open source philosophy allows us to find and fix these bugs quickly with all products, so in reality/. will be contributing to the open source movement in another way, however it could compromise the security picking up an early major release of an operating system.
This is a massive undertaking for me, in part because I have so much research to do to simply select the points that are best suited for a 16 week course. Has anyone ever taken a course such as this, heard of such a course, or know anyone who has taught the course?
Sorry buddy, but it sounds to me like you're trying to get/.'ers from around the world to do your work for you.
What about the recent article here about Warner Bros cracking down on Harry Potter fan sites. There was another one about a 14 year-old girl who they let slide. How considerate.
KYLE> Hey, Cartman, did they put that V-chip in your head or your ass?
STAN> What's the difference?
[Stan and Kyle laugh.]
CARTMAN> Very funny dickhead-
[BZZAAT! The v-chip shocks Cartman.]
There's an article (not necessarily good, but useful) over at DevShed that explains how to get MyODBC to work with MySQL and then link a Microsoft system running MS Access to it.
Since when did Blizzard own all rights to the word "diablo"?. You obviously didn't notice that many people quoted this (in italics) from the original/. article.
"Since when did Blizzard own all rights to the word "diablo"?" How about you sell some toilet paper named Diablo and see if they sue your ass.
The article states that Bliazzard wants to release a movie with the same title as their game that will follow (yes, not just the one word) but the storyline of that game! Wow, who could've guessed? They weren't trying to patent the word 'diablo' (well at least not like Coca Cola has a Trade Mark on the word 'enjoy'.
I recall my 4th grade science teacher saying there was a 98% similarity in DNA between humans and apes, and a 70% similarity in DNA between humans and earthworms.
I dropped science at the begging of the next grade.
How does it make you feel everytime you log on and see your name scatters all over the polls (and you know they're all laughing at you). Do you feel like President Bush and say "Gee, I'm up 5 points today", or do you secretly turn off the poll box in your user account).
Same interresting question applies to when the Astronauts (or more likely Cosmonauts) get a little drunk on the Vodka and start hitting their heads on all of the walls.
Interresting how Microsoft Service Packs are frowned upon, and yet Linux Kernel updates are hailed. The open source movement has both advantages and disadvantages when compared to closed source software. So bring on Linux vs Microsoft... No wait, it's down *grin*.

A brilliant example of the correct use of scientific language to correctly and accurately describe something.
Send slaps to timothy (We all love the work you do *s*).

Wow, does that mean Taco uses Windows?? :)

Debian Woody is Frozen - I wager my life the team waited a very long time to see that headline. Geek humour :)
Hemos says 'Enfringement', ComanderTaco says 'Infringement'. I'm afraid I'll have to agree with the latter in this case (Dictionary.com).

Whilst creating my web page, I noticed that MSIE did not render the parameter "ALIGN='justify'" in a table cell.
:)
I'm stumped as to why, because it's difficult to derive a motive of world domination and global repression from this!?
Someone please help!!...

... this works nicely (ie. the postage-paid envelopes), but what if you were to electronically reply (if it were a valid address).
Could you and your@address end up on blacklists?
1. It is expensive.
2. Sony is expensive.
Therefore: 3. "It's a Sony"
