"Courage" would be to stop making the phone thinner with less battery life and forcing owners to purchase overpriced items. Of course, Apple gets paid by any company that licenses their "Lightning Port" design. Courage? NO, more like GREED.
Microsoft has shed all pretense of shame and is adamant to infect everything with their spyware/malware behavior. This is very unfortunate. They keep removing any remaining reason to stick with Windows over OSX or Linux. Sad.
"The South Korean company, which has seen a 20.9% decline in television sales in Q1 of 2016 under fierce competition from China..."
So they give consumers MORE reasons NOT to buy their TVs?!!!
It is sad to see that Mr. Pendleton had an experience similar to my own. I was laid off the year I turned 48. Unlike him, however, I stayed in management despite hating it and still became unemployed. I hope Mr. Pendleton finds success and happiness in whatever he chooses.
Compare this to automobiles. Can you imagine the outrage if you could not buy auto parts? What if you had to go back to the auto manufacturer to have ANY part replaced.
...of why these mass murders are not being caught by the mental health system? Before we jump to conclusions and condemn the tools used by these insane criminals, we need to find out WHY someone would want to commit mass murder and WHY the mental health system is not catching these people long before they commit these acts of murder.
Someone used to have a one-handed keyboard that was one half of a standard QWERTY keyboard. (You could choose which half.) They also had a software version that worked with standard keyboards. You could access the other side by holding the spacebar and typing the corresponding position for the desired key. For example, if you had the right-hand keyboard, while holding the spacebar, you would type 'L' to get 'S'. I was amazed how easy it was to use. I guess if you are a touch typist, you know which finger to use on the missing hand and use the corresponding finger on the hand that was present. Brainz are kool.
Just when you thought their smugness and pretentiousness had peaked, they outdo themselves. Horrible, horrible, elitist excuses for human beings.
YIKES!

I was about to ask the same question. I would really like to know the answer.

We don't want to do the work.

A garden hose defense system?
Personally, I believe manufacturers should add a mechanical switch that disables camera and microphone that cannot be overridden via software.

Wheezy Waiter?

How the heck did she get that kind of money???
At least get the quote right. "I say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure."
It is truly sad that a voice of reason like Woz is so rare in "business" anymore.

I have several Kinesis keyboards. They, too, have a jacked up price, but not that bad!
I guess this is the one. They have a demo on the site. http://matias.ca/halfkeyboard/index.php

So something good did come from this.
Good grief! It is France. What else do you expect from a bunch of cheese eating surrender monkeys? WHY would anyone want to go there?
...to Microsoft's evil??? (Or Apple's, or Google's, etc.)
yes - BUT - the D party is also owned by Big Marxism..blah, blah, blah.
If nothing else, this sure is a lively discussion. :-)
