People with "nice stereos" generally use their receiver remotes as their universal remote rather than the TV remote because you run every component you own through the receiver, not the TV.
With all that money that guy had to waste on a plasma, he could've gotten a real stereo instead of his 4 easy payments of $50 bose system.
I agree. I can remember the year 2000 craze..we had to upgrade 16-bit 3270 application we were using, not only because we just needed to move up to a stable 32-bit client, but, "it wasn't y2k compliant." Fine. I met with a bunch of different companies..Made my choice, which they should've took, and they went with some other peice of crap software anyway. Upper management generally never wants to listen to the people who they actually hired.
I thought it was the one when you get the car and you get all those kids and have to stuff 'em in the trunk cause they don't fit..and if your not careful, you could spin the spinner right off the board and take someone's eye out!
yeah, those are "newer" bernoulli boxes. I'm not too sure why Iomega reinvented the Bernoulli drive after zip and jaz medias..
The physical size of a disk went down, too. Its a huge external drive with the option to put another drive inside the box making it a dual bernoulli drive..
that thing was great for backing stuff up on my PcXT.
I've got an Iomega Bernoulli Box stashed at my parents house...has about 15 or 20 8" disks with it and its "special scsi card" that can't go in anything faster than a 486dx33.
yeah, but lets clarify big engine- like as in a 454, not a 4 cyl. honda with a maxwell house coffee can as an exhaust tip and giant chinese stickers on the hood that don't match any part of the car that really say "Take out service"
I agree with that. My cable provider blocks ports 80 and 8080, and I have to run apache on a different port to get around it..but this means spiders don't find my website...
I can't run TiVo's HMO sharing across the net either because of it...
yeah, I agree that it'd be cool to do with a scanner, but, would one last play from a record player into the computer to convert to mp3 kill a guy and his record collection? I Doubt it...kb
funny, the company i'm currently consulting at wants us to roll out some "new win95 machines" for a department that has a dos dependency. Sad but true...
um..yeah..we have an idiot who parks in the lot next to my aptartment building who opens the door without unalarming this car, and it seems to take him 5 minutes or so to unalarm it...
I just scream out the window of my apartment now: "SHUT THAT FUCKIN' THING OFF YOU COCKBITER"
Doesn't seem to work...brick might be a better idea...

I hope his plasma burns out.
George wanted to name his kid 7...
This must be expensive to replace when your kids throw the 'ol baseball through them.
Better yet, in hurricane season i'd love to tape up my tv set window to ensure it doesn't shatter all over the place.

Maybe they should use those RFID tags on their employee's and make sure they aren't illegal immigrants.
...see, no matter what, a hacker will always try to make something better than originally intended to serve as.
yup, no matter what format, still looks like a game of Othello to me.

do not pass go, do not collect $200.
well lets flip a coin then :)
haha! you gotta mod that up! I actually went back to read the l33tness to get the punchline :)

Oh yeah, those 8" disks hold 10 megs a piece.
You forgot to mention the microwave ovens throughout the school, or better yet-- The CAFETERIA FOOD!
I'm sure the parents have a few microwaves in their house..I'd love to sit in front of their house and wardrive and shove my 30db antenna up their ass
don't you get a tax write off if you buy a hybrid though?

.kb
yeah, seriously..no mention of ddial? Apple ][ with 6 modems and phone lines..woohoo..that was the best...
.kb
well, some tow truck companies won't tow it then, because it can, ruin your car if your dragging the thing.
