Now, Denmark charges an additional 180% plus 25% VAT. So if your Tesla costs $60,000 in Germany, just a few km north and you're paying $60,000 + $108,000 + $12,000 = $180,000.
In Colombia, the good cabs will take you to your destination, driving in circles or half circles as much as possible, and making sure to take the most congested streets to push up the time value.
The not-so-good cabbies will drive you in circles, make YOU provide the directions, get aggro'd when you say that walking is faster, and show you their machete on the side of their chair.
The bad cabbies will drive you in circles, to the freakin mountains, scream and shout when you say, "POLICIA! POLICIA!" while taking a picture of them on your phone, and then let you out, demanding double what the meter says;-) They will also show you the machete and curse at your bad Spanish.
Absolutely none of them will speak a lick of English.
I've run into two not-so-good cabbies and one horrible one (who did, in fact, take me to the mountains and pounded his fist and yelled when I told him he was mistaken) via Uber, but Uber support rectified them within 2 hours of me rating them 1-star.
In Bogota, Colombia, Uber is the only safe way for non-Hispanics, and the only way to get any sort of recompensation from bad cabbies who will scam you and get aggro'd.
I conduct commerce with *real* United States currency: American Silver Eagles and American Gold Silver Eagles. they are the real basis point for the value of a $1 USD and $50 USD, not the $1 FRN and $50 FRN that are worth ~20x less.
There was the case of the guy driving from one gun-friendly state to another gun-friendly state. Cops pulled him over in a state that was NOT firendly to guns (I believe, Illinois) with NO JUST CAUSE, proceeded to open his trunk, find said guns, and arrested him on like 50 felonies, because there were like 20 guns and ammo.
The guns were properly licensed and completely legal for him to posses in both the state he lived in and was traveling from and every state he was going to spend the night in his 3 day voyage.
It is verbatim to what Rasczak said in his history class near the beginning of Starship Troopers (1997) the movie.
Anyone who thinks that they will even have Social Security in the 2030s and beyond is a sucker!!
Teach me!
Obvious sarcasm is obvious!!! Sheesh!!
Is being a Jew more of a matter of heredity or faith? I've never heard of one being just because of faith...
Careful!
Becoming a transgender is *DEFINITELY* a choice.
It has not been proven scientifically that homosexuality in all cases is never a choice, either...
That's quite a lot of freedom of movement you've got there!!
Your reading comprehension sure does suck!!

Trump would beat any U.S. politician.
Funtoo forever!
As the owner of http://www.phpexperts.pro/ I totally disagree ;-) I love PHP with a passion.
They are the only organization to create a PHP specification in over 20 years of PHP's history.
If anything, I would say they're far more committed to PHP than Zend ever was or PHP's new overlords, Rogue Wave.

Yeah?? I just wish Slashdot had UTF-8 support so close to 2016!!
Burned to the ground, I'm afraid ;-(
I'm always horribly unique whenever I check. Doesn't matter what browser I use.
And I thought *my* slashid was a big number!! [I had a 5 digit one, but lost the password and the email address a decade ago :(]
It's too bad you weren't more employable that you couldn't find another job.
The answer should always be:

So straight up Ponzi scheme?

The guy got something like 30 years in prison!!
I don't think this is the same story, but it's very similar: http://thenewspaper.com/news/4...
