  1. This is just a push to make free users to become Pro paying users. 1000 photos is nothing if you use Flicks as a backup for you phone camera. God, I did not want to do Google Photo but looks like I'm being pushed there. Thanks Flickr, you were good, but nothing good lasts long.

    Liability cover damages you inflict on others, luckily for other guys you puny bike cannot do too much damage (unless you manage to accelerate to 150mph) in a collision. I guess your insurance is smarter than you are.

    gmail have very special IMAP implementation (as gmail does not have folders on server side) which has some quirks and may not work very well with every proper IMAP clients.

    Hard to find 60 inch computer monitor these days, and you'll probably be paying much more than for TV of the same size.

    BS. Death for autopilot means nothing. Human drivers value their lives (except where I have to commute) and will do a lot to try to save them, including paying attention to what happens in front of them. I doubt that you can force autopilot to value human life or their own "life".

    Practically all visible light that we see is emitted by atoms. So the only thing that we really see is atoms (emitting EM radiation).

    This are 3 apps that keep me on Windows.

    There is Skype for Linux, but it looks ugly and camera support is very random.

    I tried all sorts of money management apps for both Linux and Windows, nothing gets close to what Quicken can do, so I'm stuck there (even though I hate Quicken the alternatives are 10 times worse).

    I can probably survive without Outlook but there is no real alternative for using best features of Exchange server, without Outlook I feel like I'm back to nineties.

    This just reinforces GP point - controller's error can be corrected by pilot, meaning that controller has to screw up pretty badly so that no one can correct it. Pilot errors may be harder to correct. Pilot, like captain of the ship, has ultimate responsibility for what happens to the plane, with the remote piloting this responsibility is hard to exercise.

    Really, who gives two craps about thickness... it's all marketing from Apple. Who has honestly gone "Gee wizz, this laptop is just too darn THICK for my needs!"? Pretty much no-one... where does it being super, super thin make for a big boon? Any bag you're going to carry said laptop in is going to be able to handle another centimeter or so... geeze.

    But if they would make it thin enough you could stick five of them in your average bag :)

    Gosh, try to put your vehicle on ss-18 and launch it, then go to police and see where they could track it...
