Ozzy osbourne... Who the hell understands that guy when he talks. Sure, he's a great guy, I really love is music but... You need the enigma machine to decode when he speaks.

when I read this page, it seems Apple is collecting data and can share it with its partners so don't blame Google and Facebook alone. it's a good idea to point fingers at Google but they're not the only one doing it. You might pay for the device (Samsung or Apple) but the OS is free in both. It's when you start signing up for their service that you agree to share your personal info ...like it or not they will do it.

for example, this is one if the text: "We may also use personal information for internal purposes such as auditing, data analysis, and research to improve Apple’s products, services, and customer communications". Thats how they make their money too. please don't blame only 1 company only with others do the same. it's insulting and pathetic if you ask me.

On my part, i only use personal info if I really have too

With this info, it seems like they're still people that are using IE. I for one, just simply hate Microsofts way of doing with IE as they seem to think its their laws that shall govern how we use the internet because they seem to use a different mechanic behind their browser but with that many people, i don't think Google should end support for IE9.

But I understand why they do it. I've talked and I know some web devs that just simply hate IE9 because its a pain to work with when they create a webpage. They always have to work with some special code and its always extra work. At the end, their clients pay more if they want IE support on their webpage and their clients know that and are aware

Then you should (like everyone I might had) to start reading the fineprints when you sign up stop using it when they had ads. Also, if they are using your data and selling it and agreeing it when you signed up, its your own fault (by YOU I mean the poeple since theres millions in there).

There's some responsibility here to take. If you sign up, and in the signup it says (in the 135th page) that they will sell you data or have the rights to do so AND if you don't like it or don't agree to that, then its your responsibility to NOT accept it. Unfortunately, lots of people are afraid of privacy issues but for some reason they give public information on facebook, twitter and all these social sites.

Same thing with ads, if they start to use it, then its your job to tell them, if its clear that they're not going to stop, then just close the account on that site and go elsewhere.

Violence, sex, murder, theft and many more doesn't have any consequences. One can think hollywood movies which are the number 1 culprit.

Personally I hate when organisations or any groups which say things like this which are unfounded and gives no arguments that puts weight to their words. I mean, if they have proof about this which have very strong studies behind them then please do. But to date, no study is valid about linking video games and violence like in the news we see lately.

All I can say is lots of stories in the Star Wars universe are really good; think of Star Wars knights of the old republic for example. ok ok, not the same timeframe but story quality is something I haven't seem for a while. Also true that episode 1, 2 and 3 were not the same quality but thats mainly because they used science to explain the jedy powers which really ruined the mood. Besides, episode 1 through 3 was already known since we had a big idea what was going on in his life. What left a blank to me and would of been great story is from the beginning Anakin used the whole darth vader suit which he his very young up to the point where episode 4 starts which if everyone remember THAT darth vader is old...he aint young.

Is it worth it to spend 60 for a 8-16 hours game that I will trow away in the garbarge or let it gather dust in my cabinet cause I only played it once ... or is it worth 60$ cause I still play today and the replay value is very strong. With software, is it worth 50$ and more depending on the usage I need from it. lots of software are just overpriced for my needs. That's bad cause I know some software that I would buy the their price is very questionable.

Prove to me..or us here, people of /. that piracy is anti-business. Give me stats, hard numbers to make me shut up. Afaik, piracy helps business in an indirect way like it or not.
