    Wait, why the hell would you have a function doing that and returning void, when you could have done a procedure? Unless you are doing error checks, but I doubt it.

    Select the file to install with your mouse, doubleclick. Works in pretty much any desktop distribution. Also, if you want it to work in any distribution, make an archive with static-linked compiled files. Skype has done that, so can you.

    There is a far more advanced x264 under VLC/FFMpeg, also open source, but it is illegal to use it unless you purchase a license.

    The screen is way too small for Windows. I mean, yeah, 1024*600, but keep in mind that it is only 3-4 inches across. Your fingernails will hate you.

    Thing is, nobody of the big guys made tablets that didn't fail until Apple did, and then everybody followed suit. Yes, they are overhyped, and I can't find a meaning to them, but they aren't exactly copycat. And rock solid Linux tablets aren't really coming - Vivaldi is more or less useless, and sorry, but KDE has never been rock solid.
