Blaming the economy on Bush 8 years after he left office. The fact that growth has never exceeded 2% during Obama's tenure should tell you all you need to know about that. "Stopping damage" is not an accomplishment. It should be growing.

The stocks are a LEADING indicator, and 19K happened after the election. Before that my broker told me not to even bother putting money into stocks before the election. Think about how crazy that is ... a guy who makes money for a living investing my money told me to send it somewhere else outside his portfolios. That's what the stock outlook was.

Obama told Hillary to concede, and she did ... but they should look beyond all that to make it easier for the GOP in 2020.

    Minor problem.

As you'll recall Obama had only been elected to the US Senate for 2 years before he started running for president. At that point he had done basically nothing other than the lawyer thing, a well-articulated DNC speech, and making some shady connections. Obama himself opted out of that race for a while for these very reasons.

What helped Obama is TIME magazine (and others) started writing all these puff pieces on him. Basically grading every committee meeting he did in terms of whether or not it would be an advantage from the perspective of a presidential campaign.

You see the government can spot the wastefulness of giving cataract medication to someone before they go blind in one eye. (A true NHS policy, btw).

And the government understands how politicians should get large lump sums of money for the more people get put on the kill lists. (Part of the VA/Walter Reed thing).

And if everyone was enlightened as the Government, they would email bomb each other in waves of sophisticated confusion everyday, just like the NHS here.

But ordinary people are not as enlightened as the Government.
