It's the law that is found unconstitutional.

Just because the law is wrong doesn't mean the court endorses the crime. Take Miranda vs. Arizona . Even though the rapist is freed, and precedent is set, the court isn't saying it's okay to rape someone.

Sure space is a big issue with the 2mb hotmail accounts, but I think my biggest problem with their service is speed.

You forget that e-mail takes at least 6 hours to show up in your inbox.

I've sent stuff to my Hotmail box expecting it to show up in seconds (because it's e-mail!) and it didn't show up until after its use expired.

Personally, the other big problem is the fact that remote images count against your space. If you get spam or HTML formatted e-mail the whole message is counted, not just the text.

It should also be noted that Alan Keyes thinks it would be a good idea to repeal the 17th Amendment.

This, for those who don't know, would make the state legislature elect (U.S.) Senators instead of the people. Why? Likely because he is behind in the polls also.

But this seems like a bad idea to me for a number of reasons:

I may like Republicans to run my state, but not the U.S. Congress. Makes it hard to have it both ways.
People already feel under represented, this would make it worse.
Puts Senate choices and debate behind closed doors (I believe)

My opponent and his running mate voted against this money for bullets, and fuel, and vehicles, and body armor. When asked to explain his vote, the Senator said, "I actually did vote for the 87 billion dollars before I voted against it." Then he said he was "proud" of that vote. Then, when pressed, he said it was a "complicated" matter. There is nothing complicated about supporting our troops in combat.
    -President Bush RNC 2004

I'm not trying to 'bait here either (and I admit I'm biased). This line has been used over and over and the (dumb mass of) American people have not been told that is how Congress works. Think about it, someone (Republicans, the majority) had to vote against it before they voted for it. Otherwise, there would be no second vote. Right?

It's been covered on the "blogosphere", at least on the left side, but it has not made it to the mainstream media. No one has asked Bush if he knows how Congress works, or if he's seen "I'm Just A Bill".

Sure, the blogosphere put Dan Rather in check, but when will they put the entire mainstream media in check? When will they force them to actually ask some real questions? I'm ashamed to say this, but I find Meet The Press seems to do this best... but even now and then they throw softies.

Now that Mozilla is gaining word of mouth marketshare it will again be the standard. Opera will not last long, all IMHO.
