    ive got an idea why don't you put sub audible tones into the tv stream and have some sort of program that collects the codes hmm you could maybe have some sort of code block in print media also (and con a MajorRetailer into handing out the reader units)

    hows about this you setup your rig it gets put in the cargo hold and then at 30K it goes off and turns into a glob of metal

    possibles
    1 fire on the plane torch the luggage (fail the airframe)
    2 very large hole in the plane (the cargo hold drops to not many psi or 0.0?? atmospheres)
    3 get very lucky and you might sever the flyby wire system (oops backups should get the plane on the ground)
    4 depending on what the plane is doing you might hit a fuel tank (fails the airframe OOH NIFTY KABOOM)

    thats the problem when you call you face the problem of

    1 The engrish spleaking operator (who you get to after at least a 30 minute TOLL CALL and a phone tree that invents new methods of recursion)
    requires you to speak the 15 words of power (not documented anywhere even in the famous hidden drawer) and then you find out (after reading
    the 600 character serial number service code and shibolith code) it will take them 5 weeks to create the rom set
    and
    2 each rom will cost you 10 dollars (media cost handling cost because we can cost labor cost)
    3 they meant 5 months
    4 they will charge your card and then ship you the wrong set

    word of advise after you setup the system (and run autopatcher) Ghost it

    this is what i would like to call a l nk (since part of it is missing) if you have a current copy of a decent browser you can select and then drag the text to the tab bar to find out that .com is a prono site .gov is what would be the correct url

    since im not going to do a signup (and hoping that you are monitoring this)

    1 Linux client/ some sort of API Docs to make one ---- heck if you do a good enough job you might see some fixes for the Windows Client
    2you do realize that even the folks that are above 20% to the right of RMS won't touch/support/may KOS something that is a file sharing tool that is not somewhat open source (open protocol open API open anything)
    3 Your Mailing List/Client List should be treated like Mafia Income (suggestion have a set of flags in the profile default to off for "partners access")
    4 have a set of tubes set for Linux Distros /FLOSS programs

    a the cool thing is you can then describe different email clients just like different "little men"

    Outlook/Outlook Express : two brothers one the Older brother that drank his way through harvard and thinks He Knows More Than You Do and his little brother who is currently in High School (and is just smart enough to miss doing the "Short Bus shuffle:")

    Thunderbird/SeaMonkey Mail : two twins that live in different houses (okay one is living in an condo with a couple friends but..) they laugh at the O/Oe pair and try to do a better job

    Pine/Mutt: two old geezers that get the job done but they don't quite speak english (or is it that they can't hear as well)

    try this road is 65 MPH and then goes down at a 50 angle (ie level -40 degrees) levels off and after 30 feet drops to 35 MPH (so you are coming off a hill @65 most likely 75 and you have to dump 30-40 mph in 30 feet) you could be ticketed a 35 feet but would you??

    easy way to nail Jello (tm) to the wall Liquid Nitrogen basically you freeze the tray of jello down to just a few degrees K and then use a diamond saw to cut it into cubes and then its bring out your Nail Gun Time.

    yeah a small problem with that a few players are more or less very tightly locked down copmputers (java support in one of the formats??) so if you lock out "Silver Screen HD Inc" from a software player you would also lock out most of the Black Friday Special players. Ever Gotten a cheapo dvd player and taken a screwdriver (or just glared at it real hard)?? the drive inside is a caseless computer drive!!

    the problem is that CableCard specs/access/existence is treated as TOP SECRET BURN BEFORE READING and why bother with a HD TV + CableCard when all you will get is SD cable (no PPV No extras No Bling) heck i have an ATI Radeon AIW 7500 that is pulling down basic TW cable (interceptor force 2 on scifi ATM)

    easy way to have the Luserbase understand how to tell if a free program is good/safe

    1 GPL /uses Sourceforge as a mirror farm (+points)
    2 not GPL but has a Linux version or has source downloadable (+half points)
    3 site has massive ads and or flash based ads (- double points)
    4 site mentions in a positive way Gator/Claria Bonzi buddy weatherbug or any of the KOS programs (warm up the BGF9000 and pick up a QD glyph)
