The whole TSA theater is BS but if they want a quick partial fix to this problem simply let everyone with a concealed weapon permit through the precheck line. The requirements are the same as Precheck with the exception of the "airport interview" which doesn't seem to be a real interview anyway. That would make another 13 million background checked and fingerprinted people eligible to use the Pre lane. Of course that isn't 13 million flyers but it would be an instant and free way to move millions of people out of the traditional screening line.
First my disclaimer. I am not affiliated with Teksystems other than as a previous satisfied consultant. I am not working for them now. I have 9 years of consulting experience which has been a mixed bag.
TekSystems is a first class outfit. I had some dealings with them in the Detroit area and everyone I had contact with there was professional, honest, and hard working.
When I moved to Denver, I found their branch out here to be just as good. They placed me and they showed the same interest and enthusiasm in me after I was placed as before. After I was hired on full time they continued to followup occasionally.
Laid off now, they are the recruiters that I went to first. All in all, my best recruiter experience ever.
And now for a shameless plug: My resume
If you are looking for a Linux/UNIX, web/sys admin, PHP or Perl developer, hit me up.
Police carry to prevent crime, namely injury to themselves as they try to enforce the law. So, the lawful armed citizen is a Good Thing. Laws disarm only the lawful.
Yes, the founding fathers wanted to ensure citizens had access to "Muzzle loaded, smoothbore, single shot flintlocks" or in other words "the most advanced, deadly, military grade weapons the world had ever known". hell, you could own a cannon if you wanted. The 2nd amendment states "arms" after all not guns.
BTW a "concealable automatic ceramic-barreled teflon-round armed killing machines" does not exist. But it sure is a nice emotionally charged phrase to make the uninformed swing over to the anti gun side.
It take approximately 2 YEARS for 80% of users to upgrade to a new browser. So in March of 2004, there will still probably be 6.8 million AOL users with IE based clients.
Sorry but this has been going on for years already

Hell, one of my friends has a moderately successful company, www.rawhideinc.com that will "google juice" your company as one of their services. They are still around after a couple years so they must be getting clients.
Traditional RPGs like AD&D of course, but board games such as five player Line in the Sand (good luck finding it now) where someone doesn't have to lose for you to win.
You had better believe libraries track. I've had some MLSs (master of livrary science) tell me some very uncomfortable facts about trends among libraries.
Think about all the intra- and inter- library loans too. It's not just the corner library that has access to your information.
As someone who has followed Groening from before the Simpsons (look for the various _*_is_Hell books and _Akbar_and_Jeff_ if you haven't seen them already) I am wildly excited about Futurama. I still watch the Simpsons faithfully and find their latest shows are still funny although some of the later seasons were a bit mediocre.

but in a city of 2+ million I suppose I am not unique.
Not only do you get spam addressed to random accounts on that domain but all the Undeliverable Mail bounced back to spoofed addresses on that domain.
for 25 hrs a week of various computer monkey stuff.
They also have a history of harassing people who aren't breaking the law.

The REAL reason is that the US Congress only has the power to pass laws that affect interstate commerce. Read it.
Now, that does not always stop them from passing bad/illegal law but that is another rant.

I ended up buying everything from NewEgg.com. And they do not screw you at S/H time!

Let's see if we can float to the top of their usage reports.

Personally I've had 10-11 year old MREs on a backpacking trip and they were great.
Yes, who pays that $7000 the article mentioned? I'm sure it's not the designer-in-training.
