since the "standard Samsung apps" are horrible or non-existent. The G5 doesn't have a "standard document app", nor does it have a "standard" cloud app. It's all carrier-specific. Google drive doesn't count it's still an app you have to install usually. Here's a list of g5 pre-loaded software. They all have Polaris Office pre-loaded, other than this there is no cross-handset standard apps. What I really wish Samsung would do is remove Knox and it's anti-root stuff. Putting extra steps in my rooting is annoying lol.

There is one potential candidate pointed right at us. Don't feel too bad, even the Bad Astronomy guy said "I might have been wrong" when he found out about WR 104. "Data show that the orientation of the spin-axis of the system, with respect to our vantage point from Earth, is almost exactly aligned. As nearly as we can tell, we are looking directly down upon the polar direction of the spinning binary stars. " It's about 8,000 light years away; it could have already blown and we're just waiting for our planetary extinction GRB wave front to hit us.
And then we have programs like Rosetta, where the lander wasn't allowed to have an RTG because the French thought it was "too dangerous". What your describing though is kinda like Asimov/s Foundation series.

I'm assuming the guy was asleep; it was 4:00 AM when the police showed up. Must be a heavy sleeper...the OSBI cleared him and there are indications this may have been a targeted "swatting" by someone who didn't like him.
The only thing that is REALLY bizzare is the Sheriff's department DID knock, got no answer. They had entered the house, cleared at least two rooms (living room and a bedroom) and THEN the owner comes out shooting. I honestly don't buy "I didn't hear them"; the police were inside his house long enough to "clear" part of it...they are not quiet ninjas but really noisy on purpose. The OSBI cleared him, but I'm at a loss as to how you can't hear someone kicking in your door and searching your house. The did announce themselves. They did knock. Maybe this guy was asleep; it did happen around 4:00 AM. Why none of the articles say this is strange too...
Why go through all that effort? The NSA / CIA will just keep doing what they currently do...continue to violate the Constitution and when caught red-handed just lie about it. Most recently off the top of my head, like when they hacked Feinstein's computers while she was conducting an investigation on them. Like that skit on The Chappel Show..."I'd never do that to someone's couch! Yeah, I did that to his couch."
To me, this claim is a good thing. Oh no, they will have to go back to doing real investigations again, and won't be able to just suck up everyone's messages, emails, etc like they are now. Boo hoo, their agents will have to get out from behind their monitors and hit the streets! End of the world! They can't even justify the data warehousing by showing when it's lead to actually stopping anything.
oh, they BILL exactly the same amount. As in, the company their working for still charges the same amount as if they had American workers. They just get to pay the H1B's far less, so it's more profit for the contracting company itself.
I don't feel he is an "anti-US" person...seems like a "pro-US" for wanting to expose the military industrial complex...but wanting these freedoms is enough to get that label these days. With our laws we would have locked up Paul Revere, John Adams, and the whole lot of them. Per the US PATRIOT Act all the "forefathers" of the US would be considered criminals and / or terrorists. If the US / UK independence was modern-day it would never have been able to get off the ground.

The rate slowed because the ocean is a giant heat sink. That's one reason the sea is rising...hotter water takes up more space. Eventually the ocean won't be able to store any more extra heat. Not that any of us will probably see that point; the oceans will be too hot to sustain the amount of life it currently does and much of the population will starve from that and other massive climate disasters.
I feel that neither position is really useful. With Siberia melting, unless your currently building an air-tight dome no amount of carbon curbing with affect the gigatons of methane that is starting to leak back out. It may be too late already.
once the current Siberian melting picks up and dumps tons of methane back into the atmosphere it will affect everything on the planet. Seeing the giant holes opening up there right now, it may already be to late to turn the clock back. All of this bickering may be for naught...
