Is it currently? Any chance of phone manufactures implement it by default? How about carriers? Seems to be the only way to truly protect against things like this.
"Ability fix things". The tiny midwestern town that I was born in has a Wiki page that states it was devastated by fire in the 1960s. This never happened but it was devastated by a major flood in 1937, which it barely mentions. I corrected it and it was reversed stating that I needed sources..How do you source something that didn't happen? There was never a major fire.
I tried again a few years later (2012ish) and it was again reversed. I quit trying.
If I see a deer that not moving, but is 20ft from the road, I slow down because I know it might decide to run in front of my car. It might also decide to stand there and not move. Reaction time has nothing to do with this.
This is Slashdot, not a term paper. Who gives a shit?

Move on.
He didn't suggest it, he said it's likely to happen. He's basically saying if you provoke, you will likely have consequences.
The local graffiti artist sometimes make the front page; doesn't mean they are influential.
Anonymous is as influential as the bulletin board at my local grocery store.
You work for WikiLeaks and have a gmail account? How fucking fumb can you be?!

Maybe not cult, but I don't like the open source culture and don't feel the need to feed it.
Gamergate is a crock of shit.
iPhone apps can't access call logs, installed apps, messages or pretty much anything else. They are sandboxed.
Simply ignoring them is the best policy. I don't debate, nor even acknowledge them.

The last thing we need is anyone claiming to be one of them.
