I used to share that attitude when I was a kid, but I've grown up. I am not law enforcement, and I have no business blocking a lane to try to enforce my idea of the speed limit. These days, I stay to the right unless I'm passing, and then I pass right away (unlike those idiots who "pass" because they are going 1/2 mph faster then the other person). I notice that, now that I don't let what I think my "rights" are interfere with my driving, I am a lot less susceptable to road rage.

Yes an no. The market would change, certainly, but it wouldn't be destroyed. And, while teenagers might be the bulk of the market, adults are becoming a larger part of it. I am an adult (31) and so are my friends. We all play games.
Games are constantly improving in one way or another. I'll always be a gamer, because I simply don't see a time when games will bore me.
More adults into gaming might mean that we could start seeing more adult content in games, rather then less.

Still, this shouldn't be a law. It seems stupid to me that there are people trying to pass a law when the industry is already labeling these games.

That's what prevents companies from putting cameras in the employee locker rooms and bathrooms. Wouldn't that apply to the internet, at least as far as p2p goes?
Does any corporation have a right to gather information on individuals? Maybe they can for advertising purposes (and maybe not) but for law enforcement?
I think of it this way, if the RIAA suspected me of running a bootleg CD business out of my home, would it be legal for them to park across the street and take pictures with a telescopic camera? To use a high-powered microphone to listen to what I do in the house? To tap my phone line, or try to intercept my cel phone signal?
I don't think that would be legal. Certainately it wouldn't be ethical.

This is exactly right, and a good point. I've been doing tech support for years. Now, I'd guess it's more like 5%, and people pick up on things much faster. The reason why is probably because more of them have computers at home, or have worked with them in previous positions.

Of course, the downside of this is that the problems people are having are much more complex in nature!
