One thing I didnt pick up on at first was the "Kids Story" was them saving that one kid who in Reloaded follows him like a puppy. It didnt click till the second time I saw it.
When my apps are up I share the Kosmic Free Music Foundation archives (8 cd's of audio tracks, mp3 files and old mod/tracked music). The license says I can, and I e-mailed one of them to make sure I was understanding the license correctly. It's hard to find good legit music to share, but not impossible.
As soon as I can get my cable upgraded to business class I will offer Kosmic an FTP/web site.
Bob Rosses painting show IMO was a great bit of public television. sol he sold some art supplies in stores and videos of the show.
Norm Abrams while having a workshop with tons of stuff I will never be able to afford is a craftsman who does IMO a good job actually showing you what you need to do to make stuff.
I dont think many public networks did Nova better. Now a days with discovery and whatnot they can come close, but I have caught these so called educational channels out in fabrications from time to time.
To me it looks like you dont actually watch PBS, or have mixed PBS up with your local access cable.
My local MRI office has a sign near a major road that they can change the slogans on. for nearly a year it read "Plagiarism saves time". I'm guessing SCO/Canopy is a big client. That told me I never want to be associated with a company that thinks that's a good bit of advice.
I love it when people are so cheap that when buying hundreds of thousands of dollars of hardware they decide to try to cheap out on a sub $200 part. We do the same thing where I work.
USR makes several models of modems. Sportster modems show up on www.usr.com as $94 - $109 for an external, and about $79 for an internal. uSB seems to be at about $50 and I assume the $30 internal is a winmodem. These modems are IMO crap, yes they work and are cheap, but for reliable data communications they are crap.
The Courrier line $289 on the usr website (seen for as low as $150 wholesale), are in a whole different class then the sportster line. Thingns they can do that the sportster model can not: Sync/Async leased line support The ability to re-negotiate communication on the fly so you never loose connection. My wife once picked up the phone (back befor broadband was around)and after she hung up instead of lost carrier, they re-negotiated and kept going full speed. Hardware Flow Control. A number of seurity features not available in the sportster line.
Courriers were the modem to have if you were a BBS sysop back in the day. They were faster more reliable and naturally more expensive.
Now, if I were to reccomend a modem it would bea courrier, because unless you dont need any of it's features it's just such a good peice of equipment. This isnt some old zoom 2400 BPS non hardware ecc POS.
""The US government announced that 49 countries are joined in a "coalition of the willing" to remove Saddam Hussein from power in Iraq, with some number of other countries expressing their support in private.""
My fav bit of Cyber-goofyness was in "The Five Doctors" when they capture the Master. The leader of the group walks about 5 feet away from the master, calls his next in comman over and then in a loud voice explain how they will use the master and kill him when they are done. A real MST3K moment, "I can still hear you you know".
I am not the above poster, but how is the doctor "purely intellectual"? He was not above kicking someones ass from time to time. I remember him fighting people with swords on a number of occasions, and making some fairly hefty weapons. Was it the deadly assassin where they went into the matrix and were fighting?

Not even the haunted house one?

The American versions of those shows suck?
The second Killer Tomatos (The one with Clooney) film did it much better IMO.
Best not be getting between Americans and ConAgra provided NASCAR

I think you will find Wizardry pre-dates bards tale.
1981 : Wizardry-Prooving Grounds of the Mad Overlord
1985 : Bards Tale
The other stuf looks right.
Down here in the US of A, Best Buy is doing the same thing with another chain it owns called Media Play.

Problem is not all terrorists are followers of radical Islam.
You left out this one.
"I'm still waiting for an RPG series using this system that lets you import your characters from one game to the next, too."
The Arc the LAd series for the PSX did this. I dont know if the PS2 arc the lad game also lets you continue.
Wizardry one way or another let you do this in most of the 8 or so games.
""The US government announced that 49 countries are joined in a "coalition of the willing" to remove Saddam Hussein from power in Iraq, with some number of other countries expressing their support in private.""
So the lurkers support us in E-mail?

By your logic, MS and Sony are also like Apple.
What happens when a Cleric of the Tetra Grammaton becomes corrupted by/engages in political speach?
A much harder question then "What would you say is the best way to get a weapon away from a Grammaton Cleric?"
You made my day with that comment.
Also useful is www.mobygames.com for release info and whatnot.
Mitsui makes a gold layer "archival" CD-R they claim will withstand 200 years simulated.
