    The Music worked in SS1.
Best elevator music in a video game IMO.
It was weird, you would be fighting your way through areas, make it to an elevator doors closing just as enemies come for you, and then the Elevator musi is there all upbeat and cheerful while you move on to even worse doom.

Spent about a hundred rounds before I managed to get a grip, shooting randomly into the fog.
Was worth the price of the game.

I was playing late and finally decided to save and go to sleep. So I pop into the save screen and tell it to save.
The screen that comes up is the "erase all save game data" screen. You dont notice instantly, but the dialog box isnt quite right (if you are expecting save) so you read it, and realize OH SHIT!! watching that "progress bar" fill up was a killer.
Briefly I was actually thinking "Maybe I can reset the console and the saves wont be lost".
Good thing after it turned out to be a sanity effect.

Bush is bad (way to much use of God in speaches about War) about it, but nowhere near as disgusting as one politician from Ohio who any time he talks about the "war" cant go 2 words without mentioning God. If one is exposed to the wrong people one might get the impression they were using religion as a reason.

Today in the news it was reported that extremist Jews from Israel are hooking up with extremist christians in America to block the peace process in Israel. Sad people are so busy using religion to justify the grabs they make on power, land, and liberty.

  18. Re:The right answer to this is obvious on RIAA Settles Suits Against Students · · Score: 1

The questions here are things like whether those guys should have known the purposes for which their P2P networks would be used, and whether there was a plausible alternative reason for that network to be there. If they knew damn well that they were helping out with breaches of copyright and they had no other reason to do it, well, that's a pretty open and shut case. If not, they have a defence.

But it was not a P2P network, as I read it it was MS Windows Network Neighborhood. Did I misread the original article?

but as far as I can see from what I've read, that wasn't the case here: they were running networks being used for wholesale copyright breaching and not a whole lot else.

Again as I understood from the original article they were not running a network or any of that stuff. Thats why I was asking those questions, and why I am no unsure if my understanding o f the original article is correct

My original understanding is that they wrote a utility that would index the "Network Neighborhood" and you could browse/search that index. You still had to copy the file via MS Windows networking.
I also understand they were sharing copyrighted materials, and that certainly was a breach of the law.

  19. Re:If anime originated in the US... on Want Anime Network on Your Cable System? · · Score: 1

That is true, but usually the animation is contracted out to el-cheapo companies in Tiwan and ect. Few Japanese studios now do everything in house.
Batman:TAS using of the top Japanese animation studios for the first series was I think part of why it was so good, quality animation that really did a good job setting the atmosphere to tell a story.
I did not mean to make it sound as if the VA and story was done in Japan.

The word you were looking for was Excellent.

The cyberleader uses it a lot, so to me this means Dr. who takes place when the Matrix does.

Reloaded will introduce to use the cyber humans (I like to call them "Cybermen"), and we will lean why Ted has been alone in the Matrix, Bill has become the leader of the cyber people.

The AI and such are just a creation of the Cybermen and humans are grown then turned into Cybermen. Small animals are turned into cybermats.

The final Matrix film will be a climatic fight between the humans and the cybermen. Bill will square off against Ted in a most excellent showdown in the matrix.
