    Adding a jet direct card to that unit isnt a big deal and from experiance will not introduce problems. Makes life a lot easier IMO.

    Trust me when I say a good hour spent in Death Track, GTA3, or Soul Calibur can hugely reduce my feelings of need for real mayhem and murder.

    Doom shareware cost the price of a download or a copy on floppy.
    Registering Doom to get the rest of the game cost $40 back then (If I remember the registration screen correctly) but now ID only wants $25 and you get 5 stages intead of 3.

    I have a machine running win2k, dedicated to azureus.
    IT runs fine for weeks at a time, sometimes even months before a re-boot.
    It's a lowly old pentium 2-300 with 384 MB ram.

    White wallls still exist. Many tires still ahve them, but most people mount them facing inwards since white walls are not "cool".
    At least in the USA they have not been outlawed. I cant say how things are where you are since you used the "tyre" spelling.

    You completely misunderstand what I was saying (this appears to be the new /. norm). I never said all the anime brought over here was the creme-de-la-creme. I said since there is some pre filtering we get a better good to crap ratio.

    Having seen some of the crap we dont get over here, I can say we are lucky that fandom and the licensing companies filter it to an extent.

    Yah we dont get a lot of good stuff that should be here, and yah sometimes we get crap. I never said it was perfect. I just said we get a better good to crap ratio.

    WTF is it with you people who only seem to be satisfied if a show set before TOS looks like the sets and starships were designed and built by a kindergarden class.

    I respectfully disagree.
    First a plumber alone should not be building your house.Skipping that, any craftsperson, be they plumber, butcher, basket weaver, sculpter or painter creates art.
    Have you ever seen a well made bit of furniture, or how about some wall trim that the carpenter took the time to do a good job on. That kind of craftsmenship is art. Just because it's functional does not mean it can not also have expressivness and aesthetics.
