  1. Hunting is NECESSARY on Internet Hunting Banned in California · · Score: 1

Tracking and killing innocent animals is NECESSARY idiot.

Go to eastern Iowa or other parts of the united states (and probably worldwide with other species) and look at the some of the whitetail deer there. Because of taking over more and more land, cutting down more and more trees the population is dying of starvation and disease. Thinning the population is the HUMANE thing to do.

  2. My opinion on Limited Use on Britons Frustrated by DRM · · Score: 4, Insightful

I've been under the impression the whole time that the DRM and every other anti fair use law is aiming at one thing. Locking down the music to a point to where they can charge you for each time you play it.

If it's not stopped hard in it's tracks, one day you'll go out and buy a CD, and after so many times listening to it it'll stop playing. Reading the fine print you really only licensed the music to play it 50 times. If you would like to listen to it some more, pay some more.

It's up to the markey and the consumer to hold them liable. They could pay for everytime a box crashes or has a security violation, in the form people choosing NOT to pay the microsoft tax anymore. Everyones too lazy and it's become the defacto standard to have your computer crash and your data comprimised.

Walking down the street to get me some gum, show the doorman my credentials so I can leave my own building. Show the officer on the street corner my papers so that I can continue walking down the street. Pause at the front entrance of the store to flash some ID. Show my valid cards at the counter when I buy some gum. Walk again past the officer who again asked for my papers. Show my credentials to the doorman who lets me back inside my apartment.

I'll need to hire someone to stand outside my apartment to check my ID to be completely safe from bad guys.

Wait the bad guys have computers too?!? Then it's all for naught

The courts should smack them around for defying them.

That's why it's the parents responsibility to keep them out of their hands, not the governments nor anyone elses.

    THINK OF THE CHILDREN!

When I have one I will think of them, and being the huge gamer I am I know there will be many games my kids won't even see untill I think they're at the age where they can handle them.

I'm just so god damn sick and tired of lazy parents pointing the fingers everywhere else.

They're already brib.. err lobbied for it I'm sure.

That's great to hear! I've been a long time uber-fan of SuSE and it's the only linux product I use for myself and clients.

In 98 when I tried RedHat for the first time even then I could see that with each new distro SuSE was taking strides while RedHat only crept along.

And now Novell owns Evolution to give MS Exchange Server and Outlook that final One-Two punch.

I may be blinded by my faith in them, but I have a ton of faith that Novell/SuSE will be the company in the news credited for being Microsofts demise.
