The AWS and 700MHz auctions have opened up a vast amount of real estate to be used for high speed data. When that's exhaused, the FCC will start dolling out other valuble spectrums vacated by analog TV. I feel like today's RF environment is still fairly green, dispite Genachowski's comments to the contrary.
Didn't you see the commericals from back in 2002? I think it ran durring the superbowl:
When you buy drugs, some of that money goes to terrorists such as Al Qaeda who grow poppy in Afghanistan. So therefore having drugs makes you a terrorist.
Dude, this is a good review, but PLEASE take the time to read it over before you submit it!
Run-on sentances, you start sentances with conjuntions, the first sentance of the review appears to be referring to SOMETHING, but I'm not sure what...
Just spend the time to read it over and have someone else read it. Sorry, I'm really anal about these things.

When i saw this post, I thought, "better post a reference to the Black Lotus; no one else is as nerdy as I am and would be thinking about a Magic card from 10 years ago".
One again, thank you Slashdot for exceeding my wildest expectations!
This joke is overused, and you used it incorrectly because you don't understand it.
The reference is to "Underpants Gnomes" (a South Park episode) where a bunch of gnomes steal Tweak's underpants. Their business plan is as follows:
1. Steal underpants. 2. ???? 3. Profit!...and so now you see how this often related to the.com's back a few years ago, but how your "conspiracy theory" list doesn't make any sense.
I live in a university in a big city, and I have to listen to my friends complain non-stop about the bums that sit outside of 7-11. I told them that if people stopped giving them money, they would be gone tomorrow. Spammers are the same way.
Drexel recently merged their CS major with the engineering school. I didn't know what to think. For all of you who don't know, Drexel university is a very business oriented school. It seems then that the desire for money simply becomes more and more.
Minus the sarcasm, you're absolutely right.

Did you know that "Underpants Gnomes" is almost 11 years old? Amazing how times flies, doesn't it?
Am I the only one who thought that they opened a Rita's Water Ice on Mars? They seem to be opening them all over the place of late.
Don't you remember the old saying, "one man's feature is another man's security hole"?

It would be funny if it weren't completely true.
I never make it on ./ fast enough to point out the cultural references.
I just found the entire press conference on youtube. Their discussion of haircuts was really amusing. And yes, they are taking this seriously.

You could buy one of these. It doesn't look like a USB stick. How would they know? As a side note, I don't take responsibility if you are fired.
In Soviet Russia, foil wraps YOU!
That is so true.
No, Drugs Are Really Expensive.
Saw it on a t-shirt this summer.
Is there anything Perl CAN'T do? I don't think so.
Put it in terms I can understand.
How many Library of Congresses is it? That's what I want to know.
We are such dorks. I was just about to nit-pick, and you beat me to it.

I currently go to Drexel.

This is very important:
Thank you for your time.
You're assuming 100% efficiency. Rarely would i expect any more than 25% efficiency out of a battery of this type.
I feel like such a stupid American right now. Never mind me...
Did anyone look at the "posted" date? /. is supposed to be a news site, and they're posting stuff from April.
