winamp took an off-the-shelf open-source mp3 compression library and made a cool windows interface for playing mp3s... we could build a better mp3 player into studio. At least its gd random play function wouldn't be broken.
all that time into winamp and $400 million of AOL's money and they still couldn't get random song playing right.:-/
