LOL, You have made my morning. For some reason though I can't bring myself to delete that RSS feed , I just keep reading, hoping that things will suddenly get better. I am sure the piratebay comment system and /. could well merge soon, both are still entertaining but meaninless.

I have a feeling that even with windows 7 and a load of AV it will still not end well due to the hardware limitations. This may in fact be the reason you are having so much trouble getting it running under wine and nothing to do with your linux-fu. Throw a £75+ / $140+ nvidia card in to an old core2 duo desktop (or similar), 4Gb ram, then try it under wine or windows (preferably dual boot as the kids will need windows experience in the future despite what anyone says), i am sure you will see much better results and retain your "the-shit" cap and tee-shirt. oh, and don't trust MSE on its own, add free avast or avg and possibly malwarebytes for a weekly quickscan.

WTF, I just read on the side of a bus a movie called (or at least marketed as) "This decades the matrix", why on earth would any movie worth it's salt have to stoop so low? I can't remember the actual name of the movie but I simply remember that marketing. WTFingF , anyhoo, drunk as the lord and just replying to stuff. :D

What we need is some kind of air analysis system that can monitor the air in air conditioning systems of public buildings etc and match DNA samples to keep track of everyone, add that to the face recognition and licence plate tracking and we can all rest easily at night. Maybe even install a turd analyser in public toilets with a similar database. I have never been sure which side of the foil hat goes on the outside but I may put 2 on soon.
